Awesome little heater!
Now with the COVID situation and outdoor dining becoming the norm at restaurants, I've brought this awesome little heater with me and sit it on top of the dining table, or to the local park for a picnic (of take-out food). The restaurant staff thought it's the coolest thing ever. I thought they might be weary of it being a fire hazard or something, but I didn't got any negative reaction like that!First of all this thing is small, like about the height of a water bottle, so it's nice and discreet to bring out. At the same time it's incredibly powerful! When my wife and I sit across from each other and have this heater sitting on the middle of the table, it provides plenty of warmth for us. If there were 4 of us we'd likely need a second heater, with distancing in mind.It lasts a surprisingly long time! It can use Butane, or IsoButane, or Propane, or even IsoPro (a mixture of the two). The 8oz (227g) net weight (aka 13.1oz 374g gross weight) gas canister ($5) can provide heat at full blast for at least 2 hours (I've timed it). You'll need a lighter or match to start this. Just shove the lighter through the cage and then turn the gas dial on the heater to maximum and it will light up instantly. It has an adjustable flame - heat vs cooking. If you want a flame for cooking (because you can remove the cage and rest a frying pan or pot on this if you want), then move the little metal rod all the way to the right of the words "Air Valve" which you'll see engraved on the metal near the flame. But if you want flame for heat, then move the dial all the way to the left. I found that even though it came with the dial all the way to the left, I still had to do a one time adjustment while the flame was lit where I moved the dial all the way to the right and then all the way to the left again in order for the proper flame to come out. But after that it was fine every time I used it (with no further adjustments necessary). The air vent at the top of the cage should remain closed when using this as a heater (rather than using this for cooking). You may notice that the air vent rattles a bit because it's loose. I went to the hardware store and bought an "External Hitch Pin" (3/16 inch in size) and then clipped that onto the rivet that holds the air vent in place (see attached picture). This tightened up the air vent and eliminated the rattling. This heater comes with a mesh bag for transporting it, but I found an awesome (elegant) sewing bag to put it in.When camping season begins I'll be bringing it car- camping for heating and cooking. It feels stable enough to boil water in a pot, or use with a frying pan.I really like this little heater!

Great kit for Tailgate, Campground, Car, or Boat.
The media could not be loaded. I tested this pretty thoroughly at home before using in the field. This is an awesome little piece of kit. It's not perfect, but it's hard to beat.Starting with the cons-*The burner platform for "cook only" mode (just lower base section by itself) is too wide for many common single-person pots (pics show the very popular Stanley Adventure pot... it wobbles on the burner and barely makes contact with the support legs... not advisable to cook like this).*The burner platform for the "cook + heat" mode has a little tab for switching back and forth from cook to heat, and this also causes small pots to wobble, but it's manageable.*The adjustment knob is not marked, so you need to "feel" your way from closed/off to max fuel/flame.*No instructions for adjusting air jet.*The heater screen is permanently attached to the top of the cage with a crude rivet. This is the only part of the whole unit that I didn't think was excellent quality. I suspect this will be the eventual point of failure. Everything else is very solid. That may seem like a lot of cons, but it's all very manageable. The pros:*Excellent quality throughout, with the exception of the rivet mentioned above.*Lightweight construction.*Nesting design for compact storage.*Heats very quickly in all modes.*Great range of adjustment from very low to very hot.*Very good stability for larger and heavier pots and pans.*Easy to switch from iso to propane fuel.A few other observations and suggestions:*Mark the knob and the base so you know where "off" is.*No built-in piezo. Need to bring/use a lighter or matches to start it. Long-shaft lighter is recommended since the cage will keep you from getting small match or lighter in.*The get an extension hose and/or adapter for attaching a propane bottle. They are cheap and well-worth it for the added flexibility.*The metal top discolored with high heat. Not pretty, but I think this is probably normal. You can see in the video that my well-used stainless steel moka-pot is practically brown after over a decade of indoor/outdoor use.*Keep the cardboard packing material that comes inside the base. When you pack it up after use, it keeps the cage from rattling and banging around when it's nested in the base.Overall, the cons are all manageable and the pros vastly outweigh them. This is a great piece of kit for tailgating, campgrounds, car-camping, or boating. I will be using it in all of these applications.

Would not light, but they made it right!
Piezo lighter would not light the heater and the way the unit is designed, I could not get a match or long reach lighter to ignite propane. I've been busy moving and now see that the return window is closed... Am I stuck with this $200 boondoggle?Update to earlier rant! I was pleasantly surprised when the distributor contacted me to offer a full refund. Thank you very much! I can say that I have no animus toward Campy at all and wish that I had been able to make this nice-looking unit work for me. I would have no hesitation trying their products again.

Hot and Stable
This is a great heater for 'glamping' I would not recommend this to anyone who is going to be hiking as the heater fairly large. Although it is about as big as a 5 gallon propane tank - it weighs next to nothing. It is able to heat up a enclosed trailer/tent in minutes. It lights easily.I do with that it had more of a 'low' setting so that it could be left running all night. When using it - I will let it run for about an hour until the space gets too warm - then when I wake up cold, I just restart it.The O2 sensor gives me some comfort knowing that I will not be killing myself when I fall asleep while it is running. The outside metal grates do get hot - so it creates some potential to harm little children if they are playing near it.Overall I would say the Heater is larger than I anticipated or needed, but it is working fantastic. I would buy this again just for the times I am camping - and even as an emergency preparedness item.
