I really didn't expect much for this price, but it has helped a lot with shoulder and back tension & pain. I do wish there was more customization though. You basically only have two speeds - slow and not slow - and two heat levels: on or not on. Plus it turns off automatically after 15 or so minutes and while it is on it periodically reverses speed, which is less than ideal. But yeah, it serves its function well and even seems to be well-built (though only time will tell how long it actually lasts). At under $40, I definitely recommend trying it.

It’s not overly hot but gives just enough warmth to relax the muscles further. It’s one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The massager works to get down deep into the muscles and relieves a ton of pain. Very good after a long day at work and constantly lifting heavy objects. Highly recommend this for anyone who has any type of back pain!

This thing works great. I often get knots in my back muscles, and when I get this positioned just right, it works them out in no time. My favorite part about this product is the heat. It gets HOT, but not too hot. I love using it against my bare skin, but if you are sensitive to heat, wearing a shirt or two will mitigate a lot of the heat. The build quality is top notch. I'm not positive, but I believe the shiatsu balls are glass, at least they feel like they are. I have even had success using this to quell restless legs at bedtime. This is a perfectly executed product.
