The quality of this edition is very good.The books were properly packed.Nothing more to say about the series itself,an absolute classic by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.Worth the read

Ordered: 24 Sep '22 | Delivered: 27 Sep '22 | Price: ₹416 | Seller: Cocoblu RetailThis review doesn't concern the writing material but the packaging and the quality of the books itself.Given that I ordered three books (The Complete Sherlock Holmes, Grimm's Fairy Tales & Hans Christian Fairy Tales), they should've provided a proper packaging, rather they sent it in a paper bag. Imagine books weighing near about 1kg in a loose paper bag!Out of the three books that I ordered, only one of them was in a perfect condition (Grimm's Fairy Tales). HCA Fairy Tales had bent edges and SH's box's state was not that great.Regarding the quality of the books; they aren't great, but fair for the price. SH (Be Think Publications) & Fairy Tales(Finger Print Publications) both have a Yellowish tint to the papers. Putting them side-to-side, I'd say that the paper used by both the Publications are equally thin. The paper used by BT Publications is yellow-er than that of FP Publications (but it's barely noticeable with naked eyes). Compared to something like Jiaco Publications, the paper quality doesn't keep up. But again, JP's books cost way more than these Publications.There are two volumes. Volume I is all the novels and Volume II is all the short stories. I love how they divided it into novels and short stories instead of dividing into two equal parts (which some publications do).The font size doesn't bother me at all, rather I prefer smaller-fonts over normal fonts, so it wasn't an issue for me. If this bothers you even a little, you can refer to the images attached.The book doesn't include any illustrations, so if anyone buys books just for illustrations, Grow Up! (albeit FP Publications' Fairy Tail Series has some illustrations)The only let down for me about this book is the Chapter-Title Styling. They could've gone with a simple styling or something fancier (something that Finger Print Publications did, and I love it). They decided to do something in between and it looks ugly imo.Overall, it's a value for money box-set, if you're looking for one and the cheapest one at that. Given the price of the product, you have to sacrifice somewhere and paper-quality is what you loose.Upvote if the review helps. Cheers!

Gosh I was soo scared while reading the reviews before placing the order because of so many negative reviews but if you get it from the right seller, it's a jackpot. It's a marvelous edition and evidently some people have entered reviews here after getting it from the other sellers hence creating the commosion. However the data which made me confident was the seller and the publisher. If it's coming from the publisger chances are low that they will show one product and give another unless they barely care for their reputation and profits something which is very crucial to their business so the only likeness left was for the product to be authentic and match the description provided. And this was proven right when I finally received the product.Elementary, my dear Watson.

Quality & content of books are outstanding. Best suitable book for book reader & for your own library..

The media could not be loaded. Checked reviews of Sherlock Holmes complete collection from other publishers in different price segments. This was the sweet spot. The other publications from this price segment did not seem to have this good packaging and quality. Since it's too huge to fit in single which would further accelerate the wear and tear, wanted the publication who divides it into 2 books atleast. And one publisher was dividing it into 5 books at 1.5k Rs. But reviews told that too many typos, what's the point in spending so much if you want to adjust. So finally went with this. Yeah, font size is a bit small. But not that big a deal for me. Page quality is okay. Ofcourse don't expect me to review the content, we're all Sherlock Holmes fans here who's ready to buy complete collection. It's a golden standard for detective stories.

The package has 2 books and 1 book holder for the books. Book 1 consists of 4 novels and 1 set of short stories. Book 2 consists of remaining 4 sets of short stories. Novels and stories are not sorted chronologically but the order of reading does not really matters though wikipedia can be referred for right chronological order.Pages are bound properly and no printing or paging error encountered yet.Great experience overall.
