These replacement filters for Brita or Brita-like water pitchers/dispensers work as well as the name-brand ones. I can't tell a difference in the taste of the water vs. other filters. I have been buying these for years for my Amazon pitcher. Let me tell you, the quality of this compared to name brand is great. The water tastes great. It is clear and with no signs of any color change. I have yet to try this with water that needs extra filtering, but it filters tap water pretty great. These filters usually last me about 2 months for a household of 2. It is super easy to install into the Amazon pitcher, and resetting the tracker is the best part. I think it takes a bit of time to filter out the water, but I'll take it because it has to go through different layers within the filter. The size is also comparable to that of a name brand. Nothing to be jealous of a name brand. I recommend giving these and the pitcher a shot if you are looking for something that is reasonably priced with great quality.
