Quite simply, the best grass seed I have ever used.
I don't often review items I've bought, and I never, ever give five star reviews to the few I have reviewed! But this grass seed is well deserving of a top score, and here's why.I'm not much of a gardener. In fact, I'd have to admit I'm pretty lazy when it comes to tending my garden. I like to see it looking nice, and I do quite enjoy mowing the lawns (they're not very big!). But weeding, and tinkering isn't something I'm enthusiastic about. It's more of a chore.I have one small area of lawn that has been in pretty shoddy condition since I moved in three years ago. There are constant bare patches, weeds, and areas where no grass has grown at all thanks to the trees blocking the light and presumably taking all the nutrients from the soil to satisfy their own greed.I have tried other branded grass seeds in order to fix this and give me back something akin to a nice lawn, but my attempts have always been fairly fruitless. I thought I'd give it one last chance and ordered some of this seed. I didn't hold out much hope, and gave my lawn only a cursory raking over to prepare the soil, and get rid of the moss that had taken over (I told you I was lazy!).Well, I gave the area a generous dusting with this new seed, and to my amazement, and sheer delight, I now have lots of new grass popping up all over the shop! It's looking fantastic. The second week of September, I mowed my lawn the day before sewing, having kept an eye on the weather as rain was forecast for at least the next week. Then raked away all the moss and tried to scrape the top surface as much as possible to fool myself into thinking I was aerating the lawn (practically no lawn left at this stage). The following morning, I threw down a very generous helping of seed and then gave the whole area a good watering. After this, I let Mother Nature and the reliable English weather do it's thing, and never gave it another thought. Two weeks on, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I'll not mow this area again this year, but I'm looking forward to the spring and a fully established, new lawn.Definitely worthy of a five star review, and I wholeheartedly recommend this seed. If I can make it work, then anyone can!

You'll get a very good lawn if you prepare well and are patient
I've waited a while to write this because of the cool spring which has held back germination more than a little. But patience has its rewards and I now have good results and am happy to report back. The seed mix is designed for a top quality domestic lawn, the cultivars are fine leaved and will make a lovely lawn, but they aren't the fastest to germinate and require decent preparation for a good 'take'. You must prepare the soil well, sow the seed and rake it in, then lightly consolidate by foot or roll (if you have a roller) and water well. Keep the soil moist, water daily, don't let the seed bed dry out or the seed can go dormant! And remember germination won't happen if the soil temperature is below about 12 degrees centigrade, and very slowly if its not much warmer! So time your actions accordingly.

New Overseeding
Seed arrived packed well and in very good condition. More than enough for my job so plenty left to overseed later on the year if required

Amazing grass
Amazing grass. Wonderful to look at. Silky. Lovely shade of green. What’s in the picture took nearly two months and some preparation and care and a lot of sunshine. We had nearly non stop sunshine for three weeks. Watered very well twice a day. Ensured soil was prepared for sowing the seeds. We did initially thinly scattered the grass seeds but had poor results. We then added a lot of seeds close to each other And dug them in the soil adding fertiliser On top too. And then had the amazing results. I guess there are various factors in play to get good results. With the right conditions these seeds are highly recommended.

Great result for first time
Bought for new lawnAs it was my first time I bought more than needed for size of the lawn witch turned out to be a good idea as there was a slight breeze the day my wife decided I had waited long enough to get it done so ended up putting a lot down as the breeze made it difficult to put it where you wanted it but after only two weeks of watering twice a day we have two inches of green grass a little patchy at moment but filling in well
