Perfect set of salt and pepper millks. Do the job without leaving residue on table. Grinds efficiently with good sized particles. Nice quality, matt finish in attractive colour combination. Very pleased indeed.

I went to dinner at a friends house last week and she had this S&P set, it actually works! I love you can set the required amount of seasoning to your preference and it is so easy to fill. The material of the body is smooth and will not stain with greasy fingers should I treat my self to a chippy tea 😋. Delivery was excellent and the fact they were on special offer made them a bargain. Even more of a bargain was the salad bowl which was included as a free upgrade to my order. I am most impressed! So, all in all I am extremely pleased with my order and customer service is excellent. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this product.

I was delighted with this set when I bought it three years ago, best salt and pepper grinders that I have ever had and believed I would never have to replace them. However, three years in the pepper stopped grinding and upon opening it up the ceramic grinder in the top had cracked. I thought as a quality product I would be able to replace this but on contacting Joseph Joseph they do not provide them so this means buying another set just to get another pepper pot and at £50 this is not cheap.My daughter has had the same set slightly longer and hers are still fine despire being in use by more people as she has a family and has lots of people over for meals whereas ours has just been used by a couple. So disappointing as I own lots of Joseph Joseph items.

The ‘upside down’ nature of these grinders means no mess beneath them on the table and they grind peppercorns and flaky salt finely and evenly. Very easy to fill with generous capacity. Very happy with them.

These not only look great but also have the advantage of the salt / pepper coming from the top of the grinder rather than the bottom. NO more salt and pepper left on cupboard shelves. Very easy to use and light weight compared to others, especially the automated type. Joesph always produce great designs and in this case smash the functionality too - recommend

Not quite the perfect replacement I had hoped for old salt and pepper grinders, one of which broke. They look great and are easy to use. I wanted grinders that delivered a lot quickly and the pepper one does that. Main negative was that the salt grinder got clogged with salt around the top, this invalidated one of the main claims that you don't get left with mess like in the grinders with the mechanism at the bottom. Salt would fall from the top and also it looked messy. So much so that I had to repurpose my old pepper grinder (which still worked) which I now use for salt. My grinders now don't match. The other minor complaint is that the grinders spray sideways (horizontally - like a gritter lorry) so you have less control of where the stuff ends up and an even distribution. The grain size adjustment is also a little hit and miss. Update: Central metal spindle broke after 12 months, seemingly unrepairable.

Slightly disappointed by this set of salt and pepper grinders. They were bought because we were fed up with the mess around the base and on the table from traditional “grinder at the bottom” designs and thought that an expensive no spill design would be better. Basically, that is true - we’ve had nothing to clear up around the base of the grinders, but that doesn’t necessarily mean there are no messes to deal with.For some reason salt granules coming out from the dispensing area seem to be attracted to the casing of the grinder and collect around the dispensing area. The salt on the side of the grinder is very strange as the grinder is pointing down in use and the grains must have been attracted upwards when grinding the salt - static electricity? The salt grains around the dispensing area look unsightly but have not spilled off onto the table. It only takes a moment to clear away but disappointing given that we were trying to avoid anything messy.On the positive side, they look good, feel nice in the hand in use and give a good, even grain size.
