Fits my VW Cabrio check/fill and drain ports perfectly.
This worked like a charm in removing the check/fill and drain plugs in my 2000 VW Cabrio. It's just the right size (of course) and length to get into the tight space where the check port lives near the driver's side, front tire. The transmission is very happy with its new oil.Pro tip: if your check/fill port is hard to get to you can remove the speedometer sensor from the top of the transmission and fill the oil through there. A piece of plastic tubing and an old 75w-90 bottle with the flat bottom cut off make a handy, long funnel for refilling.

Perfect fit for 2.0T FSI
I purchased the VIM tool first and after nearly stripping 1 bolt I returned it immediately and purchased this one hoping it would be a tighter fit.It sure was. It was extremely snug! A light tap with the hammer to seat it fully and bam, the head bolts all came off with 0 issues at all.I'm very pleased with the tool.

VW specialty tool
I hate when you have to have some weird tool that is close to what you already have, but not QUITE. That's the case for working on the 2001 VW Jetta. Thank heavens Amazon had this, and in stock on Prime. Did the trick. Just had to stop the axle service project until this came. Used for like 1 minute and then was thrown into the toolbox. Maybe will never use again, but it's there. Small price to pay to complete the job. Great quality. Happy with it.

But it; stop using a screwdriver jammed in the plug...
I don’t k ow what thickness and sheerness have to do with this tool but... it works perfect for you VW/Audi oil drain plug... don’t just use a screw driver - spend a couple dollars and get this tool. Makes taking out the plug painless and then you can reuse the plug.

Not worth buying
This product from PT is no where near what is needed to work on the Audi/VW heads. When compared side by side with my stubby VW T40080 M10 polydrive bit, it's clear the teeth are too thick, and the valley between to short and bowl shaped to work on the head bolts.

Great oil drain plug removal tool for 2019 Tiguan
Works great on a 2019 Tiguan. Tool has precise fit on plastic drain plug, 1.5 full turns and plug is out. Make sure to get spare drain plug as I'm guessing since they are plastic will wear over time.

Works perfectly, solid, and simple
Purchased this for our 2015 Audi A3. Before I had used a screw driver not knowing some of the newer Audis a different drain plug. After some searching we found a copper plug too for less then 10 bucks that we will get next time. This tool worked perfectly and priced fair, while being better than other options. Must have for your Audi.

Junk
When attempting to extract only the second head bolt from my Audi, (using a johnsonbar) the tip of this tool shattered inside the cylinder head. I still haven’t even heard back from amazon. Crappy tool, worse service. Buy better quality I guess.

Works
Quality is ok but the marked sizes do not align with Audi bolts to be removed. This was not a problem as I figured it out and was able to loosen/tighten the rear bolt on the lower forward control arms that I was working on.

good product.
It was good fitting and worked good. Had used it on a bolt that was mostly stripped from another tool. Thought I would just try tnis new tool before getting out welder and welding in old tool. This new tool got it out no problem.

Not perfect for VW
Missing some key sizes for VW TDI. Nope you cannot take flywheel or steering wheel off as it’s missing that size.
