Great adapter, fast delivery
This adapter is perfect to go from a 120 volt 30 amp connector to a 220 volt 30 amp jack. This lets me use my quiet smaller generator in place of my large generator, since I don’t need that much power, to connect to my home transfer switch.

Exactly what I needed
I am writing this review because I see others that say that they got their adapters without the L1 and L2 terminals connected together.. I am here to say that mine are connected (ordered March 2022).. I was looking at making my own adapter like this when I found this one for sale on Amazon.. And the price for this was less than 1/2 of what the hardware store wanted for just the female socket! Saved a bunch by buying this instead of making my own.

Buyer Beware
This is directly from product description above: “ 120/250V, supports max. 30Amp and 7500 Watts overload.” I purchased this for my Honda generator to connect to my house transfer switch for emergency power. My output is 4,400 watts. I open box and cord has tag that reads: “max wattage 3,750.” So what’s up with that? 🤔

Great Versatility
I was thrilled to find this. This adapter is very well made and will provide tons of versatility. I can use my smaller generator as a back up to the larger one. Allows you to take advantage of your transfer panel. I can plug right into the same port I use with the larger generator. Also provides gas conservation if that's all you have to use.

A need for me to get the full use of my generator
This was expensive in my mind bud I needed an adaptor for my 115 volt generator to connect to the 230 volt plug on the back of my house. I can now run the refrigerator, heat and hot water at the same time. That's all I need for emergencies.

It works
The male plug that plugs into the generator is slightly loose, but looks like it will work OK.

Exactly what I needed
Through the wall connector is four prong and my generator is three prong, so this transfer switch was exactly what I needed. Couldn't find this in my area and would have cost a lot more if I could have.
