Better than Expected and Great Fit
It is a $30 beginner beekeepers suit, not a $300 professional one, and given that, it is better than I expected. The material is a good weight/thickness and with appropriately thick clothing underneath I think can protect against stings. I won't have the opportunity to use it for a few months. The hood is especially nice, conveniently attached at the back of the collar so that it flips forward, to be closed securely around the neck. The mesh panel in the front of the face pulls out a few inches so that it is not close to the skin and safe from stings and visibility is very good. The fit of size L for 5'6" 135lb is perfect, though I'd be sure to wear boots that cover the ankle since bending over can pull the elastic cuff up a little and expose the ankle. There is plenty of room in all parts of the suit to keep it mostly away from the skin and allow for a little air movement. Gloves fit well enough given it is unisex, but a little large for female hands. The plastic zippers are the only obviously "iffy" part, not made for durability under a lot of use or stress, but the fit of the suit doesn't pull on them and as long as I'm gentle zipping and unzipping they should hold up for several uses. I feel like I made a good choice and can tackle the job I need to do moving bees out of a wall with a fair degree of confidence as far as suiting up goes.

Acurate sizing, great quality for price
We live in a wooded rural setting and I am always battling yellow jackets in our yard. I am 5'5" 116lbs. Based on another reviewer who said she is 5'4" 112lbs and the Large fit her just about right, I bought the large. When my husband opened the bag he laughed because the suit is WAY too big for me. My husband is 5"10" 165lbs. This fit him perfectly. He's a beekeeper and needed a new suit anyway. He said it's great quality for the price. I'll be searching for a smaller one. The gloves did fit me perfectly.

Nice, but a bit warm
I am sure there is a trade between being dense enough to prevent bee attacks and getting good air circulation, however I found this suit to be a bit warm. The size was about right, however the "unisex" nature causes me a problem. I have square shoulders and putting the suit on gets a bit tricky trying to get my arms in the suit. The rest of the suit is pretty roomy, but through the shoulders...not so much. It is well sewn and has good zippers. The gloves are nice enough. At about $40, it seems like a good deal.

STURDY and WELL-CONSTRUCTED; feels very SECURE; a little SMELLY
I bought this because I got stung by around 15 yellowjackets while trying to pull some ivy that was choking out my bushes a few weeks ago. This time I went at night and though I was disturbing their nest more than last time, they didn’t swarm me, so I can’t say for sure that they couldn’t penetrate it. And I wore pants and a sweater underneath anyway because last time they stung right through my leggings. But I was doing heavy yard work in the suit for an hour, sawing off branches and pulling weeds, getting scraped by jagged branches, and the suit held up perfectly. I’m 5’9” and I’m glad I went with extra large — gave me plenty of room to tuck pants into my boots and pull the suit legs over. The fittings for the attached hood feel really secure — zippers with fabric folded over and a Velcro flap over the whole. Plus it doubles as some sort of costume for occasions that call for it. It does have an unpleasant chemical smell.

Perfect. But order on the larger side.
I'm only 6' tall and 190 and the XXL was perfect. (not sure about an answer for you bigger guys/gals) I am allergic to bees/yellow jackets. Bought this to destroy a nest of angry MF'ers who sting for no reason. 2 cans of spray and was totally protected while I annihilated the softball size nest. This suit allowed me to take care of the problem without burning down my patio with a flame thrower.

Better than I expected
I found a sizable hornets' nest (not wasps, they don't scare me much) near my front door. You know, the gray basketball shaped thing with a hole at the bottom. Those guys will attack and pursue you when you mess with their nest. Anyway, I was much more confident removing the nest with this suit on, especially since I had to be on a ladder, unable to flee quickly. I am adding a photo, I bought a size XL and I am 5'10" and 175 lbs. It was plenty big. I don't think you want it snug, some space between the fabric and my skin was fine with me. It has good visibility, but is heavy and warm, but it can't be thin right? The overlapping gloves have elastic cuffs, the hood zips on and off and has a velcro flap to cover where the two zippers come together, so no bugs slip in there. I liked it, notified all my friends if they need to borrow it, and wont' worry about the next hornets' nest. When I found this on Amazon, I thought, "am I willing to pay $40 to not get stung, maybe multiple times, while 9 steps up on a ladder". Yup.update 10-6-2023: I've now dealt with 3 hornet nests, one was inside my home between a suspended ceiling and the floor above! They were coming in through the tv cable hole. So I was inside a room dealing with hundreds of angry hornets! The suit worked! I used a large shop vac to bust up and suck up the nest. My blood pressure is still not back to normal.

Solid suit
Very solid suit. Made well with no entry points for bees. Gave me the confidence to remover a yellow jackets nest. I did wear thick clothing underneath for more protection. Highly recommend for the price

Good value for the price
I'm 6'1 and a 2 XL is a bit short, especially in the leg length. I had 6 inch boots on and it was difficult to keep the elastic leg cuff over the boots. Material isn't as thick as denim but I took the precaution of wearing a long sleeve shirt and pants under it in case I ran into a wasp or Yellowjacket with a long stinger. I didn't get swarmed so I don't know if it prevents stings or not but I didn't have a problem. It has good zippers and a flap that goes over the top and front of all zippers.

Buen Producto
Muy buen producto, llego en buenas condiciones y el material es adecuado. Pedí un XL solo que los guantes que me llegaron son más pequeños.
