Perfect thick pan for dosas.
Very happy with the purchase! Though there was no instructions for seasoning, I could season by heating the pan until it slightly smoked with a thick layer of corn oil( do not season with coconut oil). Then I wiped the excess oil and stored the pan without washing. While using for the first time, do not wash again, make a dosa out of old/new batter and dispose the first dosa.. Mine worked perfect!!! Also the tawa is 12" with handle it is 14".

The best tawa for making dosai or pesarattu!
Amazing tawa! I hardly had to season it, the heat distribution is amazing on my gas stove, and the dosas come out with the perfect texture and size. Very happy with this purchase.

Did not work for dosa
Bought this to make dosa, it does not work! I have seasoned ot tens of times following many diff YouTube tutorials and what friends told me to do. still dosa sticks and does not come off. what a money waste. I wish I returned it when it disnt work the first time after seasoning.

This product does not meet requirement. it sows on picture it must be flat surface but when I received it was bit shallow. I have return this product and still not received my refund back. sellers does not making contact despite following instructions on amazon website

good product BUT
arrived earlier than expected, horrible smell and very sharp edges. MIND THE EDGE. Smell was probably due to very cheap mix of vegetable oil, if you dont mind a piece of kitchen utensil to smell like a pit stop, then this item is for you. The most annoying thing is it doesn't heat evenly (def not 100% cast iron) , this is something I couldn't change and generated this review and 2 stars. Expensive trial.

Average product!
An average product. Heavy & sturdy. Good traditional dosa tawa. Overly priced. Delivery takes ages. Edges are very sharp at places. Should've been finished properly. Even the spatula has sharp edges. So one has to be careful while handling & cleaning. Instructions regarding seasoning are not clear. In the description it says, it's pre-seasoned. But, in the questions section, the seller has replied to one of the questions that it needs to be seasoned first. So one isn't clear whether it's pre-seasoned or needs seasoning. No seasoning guide is provided with the product.

It's just 2mm thick, NOT 5mm
The description of the product is inaccurate, they claim it's 5mm but it's about 2mm thick. Otherwise seems to be well made. Please be aware before placing order. The weight seems to be less than 3.3kg as claimed. Returning the item!!
