We bought the KEN BROWN 12-Inch Shutter Exhaust Fan for our house, and it works perfectly fine! The installation was easy, especially with the included 1.65-meter power cord kit, and it runs quietly but powerfully. It does an excellent job of ventilating our space, keeping the air fresh and reducing humidity.The 1800 CFM high-speed airflow is impressive, and the aluminum shutters open and close smoothly. It’s built sturdy and durable, making it a great choice for attics, sheds, or even a garage.For the price, this fan is a great investment—efficient, well-built, and works just as expected. A great fan to help cool my high-ceiling garage with a mezzanine that gets hotter than hades in the summer. Solid, heavy construction and really easy to install.I’ve got double-hung windows on both ends of the garage near the peak and I cut a piece of plywood with a 14” square hole to replace the lower sash and mounted the fan on the plywood.I opened the window on the other side about 1/4 of the way to allow cross ventilation.I installed an inexpensive thermostat on the mezzanine side at the same height as the fan so I could adjust the temperature without climbing a ladder.The 14” fan is quiet and moves a lot of air.

About as expected. It does what its supposed to do, although I wish it was a bit more powerful. Not sure if it will cut down on the sawdust in my shop, but it does circulate the air. I installed it in a piece of plywood in a window. Overall I am satisfied. Mine did not come with any mounting hardware as the add says it does, when I contacted customer support about it they said none of their fans come with “installation tools”, I think they misunderstood, its fine, I found some that worked fine. I initially had a problem with the louvers not closing. The fan blades slow down gradually when you turn it off, so the louvers drop slowly, and they held up at the very end, leaving them open about 1/4 inch. I applied WD-40 to the top where the louvers hinge but it didn't help, I had to reach in with a long screwdriver to push them open quickly so they would drop back and close completely. After about 3 days they began closing completely on their own. Its now about 2 months later and they work fine.

This exhaust fan is great. The frame is a pretty good and sturdy. The shutters are thin, but thats ok. This baby moves some air!Have it connected to a greenhouse thermostat with a built in rheostat. Have only had it for 4 days, but so far,Im proud of it. Was an easy install, and the price was far less than comperable size exhaust fans.

The fan was placed in my covered screened in porch to help circulate air, which often becomes stagnant throughout the day. The fan is a tad loud at high speed, but not unbearable. It operates as expected and I am pleased with the overall purchase. It needed hardware for installation. It should have came with screws and washers.

The media could not be loaded. Love this fan! Installed it on the skirting of my manufactured home. Super quiet and VERY powerful! Well made, should last many years.Just need to finish the trim around the fan but it looks great too!
