Dont work. No focus at any setting

I got what I expected, it only had 2 stars to begin with so I wasn't expecting some miracle item, they kinda worked but not really, a bit blurry and hard to adjust, but it could be just me

It's my own fault. I ignored prior reviews and thought, "I'll try them. Maybe they'll help some." I was wrong. There is nothing optical quality about these glasses. They are cheap plastic from the frames to the "lenses". I followed the enclosed instructions to the letter (which I had to use my other reading glasses to see). At no point in the range of the dials was I able to see anything beyond blurry shapes. My vision isn't that bad. (I only use 1.50 reading glasses). I just thought these might allow finer control. Instead, they are a total rip-off and a total waste of time and money. BUYER BEWARE!

With the low price and bad reviews, I wasn't expecting much, but these still managed to disappoint. They do not come anywhere close to the quality of dollar store reading glasses. They are like the dime store prizes given out at kid's parties. They are made of cheap, soft plastic. The adjustment screws are also soft plastic and they don't fit well into their screw holes. The nose piece is not really attached, it just has a soft plastic tab that fits into a poorly-sized hole.It is basically two variable width plastic lenses. The adjustment slides the outside lens right or left, changing the total width of the two lenses together in the middle. It does change but but doesn't get anywhere near a point where I could actually see and I have a fairly normal prescription.There are a lot of adjustable glasses available right now, most for around $20. They all look alike and they all have poor reviews. I was thinking that if these worked a little bit I would invest in a better pair, but Dial Adjustable Glasses Variable Focus aren't even good enough to demonstrate the concept.

They will work as an interim solution until the correct prescription for regular glasses can be obtained. They will not work as a permanent solution, in my opinion. They did adjust vision until I could see distance objects but the cone of vision is very small.I can recommend them as a temporary substitute.

On a whim I bought these glasses since I had always been curious as to how they worked. They arrived and I carefully followed the instructions on twisting the knob on the left lens. I gently did this and the lens did indeed move. That was the last time it moved. Nothing further happened to the lens position, no matter what I did. Plus the right hand lens was already scratched underneath its 'protective' film. Consequently I asked to return this through Amazon to the seller for a refund. This was immediately granted but when I printed out the label for the return, I was stunned to see that I would have to pay for return postage TO CHINA MYSELF. There was no other option, so I discarded this piece of s*** without a refund. This seller should be banned from distributing through Amazon. Not only was the item poorly designed, but it was even more poorly constructed. As a professional in an optics field, I see that there is no way that the lenses as provided could provide -6 to +3 diopters, as the packaging promised. My curiosity was certainly satisfied in this case, albeit in a lying, deceptive fashion.
