Wreck This Journal (4 Volume Set) Paperback – August 7, 2012

I love these journals for teen and tween gifts! They are silly and engaging--even for the most reluctant writers. The tasks are fun. GREAT buy.

First, the journals are identical. Don't expect 4 different journals. Only the covers are different as it states. I ordered these for the kids in my extended family. They loved it! It was a big hit and at a great the price. It kept them entertained and off their phones!

Very fast shipping! The books were delivered today, but tracking still says they'll arrive between May 4th-11th (this is the 2nd). These were a surprise for our kids (14 years old, 11 years old, and 10 years old) - to give them something to do while they're stuck at home during quarantine because of the COVID-19 pandemic. They were very excited when we gave them to them a few minutes ago and they're already finding ways to wreck them! Having four different covers for the same book is nice; each kid picked the one they liked the best (with no fighting for once, yay! lol) so they won't be getting them mixed up when they go to do something with their journal and accidentally grab the wrong one. We have an extra book left over that we can put back for a birthday gift for somebody. Thank you!

I bought these for my 4 children for Christmas age ranges 8-21. Note that my children had never heard of these journals so I was excited for them to open them and get started on the fun tasks. When they opened them they kind of looked at me like umm ok mom thanks I guess until I explained they needed to look inside. As they looked through it smiles and laughter filled the room. They finished opening the rest of their presents but as soon as they did they went right back to the journals excited to get started. This 4 pack is a pack of 4 Wreck this Journals all with different covers but each book has the same content. My kids had had an absolute blast with them so much so I may order a couple more for my husband and myself.

Great gifts - pretty similar so I’m gifting to four separate kids

Fun for any age and great buy on a four pack. We gave two as gifts to teenage and pre-teen cousins and my children (7 & 9) immediately asked for their own copy for Christmas (and it just so happens I have two leftover!). Prompts are highly out of the ordinary and as the title implies, rather destructive. My kids enjoyed watching their cousins do things like drag the book behind them and throw it off a high place. (We are major book lovers so we know that is not how to treat a regular book!) Other prompts include “sew this page,” “collect fruit stickers here,” “pick up the journal without using your hands,” and “write something on the edges” plus many other ways to creatively interact with the book itself.

My daughter saw this book on a YouTube series and wanted to follow along with "Wreck This" Wednesdays. She had her heart set on the black cover book, but that was very popular and sold out (at that time) in the single book version, with no guarantee that it would be here by her birthday. I knew that once she had the book and her younger sisters saw how much fun she was having, they would want one too. So, I purchased the set of four. My oldest (14) is thrilled with her black covered journal and excitedly shows me every page as she finishes it. The creative prompts in the book at first make you think that all of the journals will look the same, but it is up to you to interpret the instructions and make the journal your own. The creativity that my daughter has shown is fantastic. The little ones (ages 10 & 8) are jealous but their books are tucked away for their upcoming birthdays as well. And the fourth journal will be mine....I cannot wait!

These are so much fun! I originally bought one of these for my 9 year old nephew. I also gifted one to a 21 year old & 45 year old who are perfectionists. They are ALL enjoying this book. This would be fun gift for any age!
