This is the best Nerf gun we have got so far and will surely be sticking to the "rival" series. It has power, accuracy, sturdiness and yes is value for money, especially when you see the fun your kids has when playing with it. If your kid is into guns, then is a must have. But please use under a adult supervision as they pack some power. Would also suggest protection goggles. Will continue with only Nerf rivals from now. My son has a mission of collecting 30 of them. Thumbs up for this!!!!

Great product, bit powerful and I recommend basic nerf war face mask for using it in nerf wars. Please use only original nerf rival rounds for greater accuracy and range and also safety as they are more squishy and made not to hurt. Pretty accurate and gives a feeling of small shotgun in your hand....great product overall

Glad that the Rival series is finally available in India. Takedown’s performance is great (88-90 fps). Though the loading mechanism is okayish and priming action a little clunky. It has a button to clear jamming and safety lock. All things considered, I’d recommend this considering other Rival series blasters are way more expensive at the moment.

Hey, this is a fantastic Gun. My child and me used to play with this with our one more nerf gun. But this has real force and power and without any injury chance on body if you are playing with some distance. The bullets are real invention from Nerf as these are harmless and long lasting material in compared to old models like Nerf-Elite guns and bullets.

Excellent Product! Shoots harder than any Dart Firing blaster by Nerf. Very fun to shoot, and the rounds are accurate. Occasional jam/hiccup, but not a huge deal. Also, so far, it’s only in Team Red. Hopefully a Team Blue version comes out too. Nerf should release the Kronos in India, as that is also good. Overall excellent product.

Finally, after returning nerf rival kronos for 5 times (bought from different sellers) i decided to buy nerf rival takedown and it is awesome, superb, fantastic. Its build quality is also awesome, it feels great in hands. Hamleys has also done a great job and packaging was superb. If anyone wants to own a nerf rival go for it.

This is one of the first Rival Blasters I purchased and needles to say, I am happy with my buy. I didn’t experience any jams or malfunctions, and the priming action is smooth. Shooting this blaster feels great, the grip is comfy and it feels somewhat similar to a real shotgun when operating it. Note, that the prime weight is pretty high and the rounds fly really fast, so I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone younger than 14.

I own dozens of RIVAL blasters because I like to host group games, and they always seem to gravitate towards this one. I have four Takedowns, and people LOVE using this blaster. My personal favorite is the Apollo, but something about the Takedown's pump-action priming handle and breech loading mechanism just appeals to people. I have had one Takedown break from extreme overuse (the priming handle gets stuck in the rear position), but it's overall a very reliable blaster. Don't be confused: this is not actually a shotgun. It fires a single RIVAL round at a time. It's possible to use the jam-clearing feature to load a second one that will fire simultaneously, but you lose a ton of power and distance. It's not an really effective use of the blaster. The Takedown is compatible with all RIVAL-type ammo. I've used official RIVAL rounds, X-Shot Meteor ammo, Accu-Rival rounds, and four different imitation ammo brands. The Takedown is a true workhorse. As Coop772 (youtuber) pointed out, the priming handle on this shotgun is slick. There's nothing for your fingers to really grip, so you have to use additional finger strength to compensate...it's not really a problem if you're just shooting solo cups at home, but if you're playing any sort of competitive game your hand could start cramping after a while. I put stacks of red duct tape strips on the priming handles to prevent this. You really can't do much better than this one for the price. It's just meat and potatoes awesome. Enjoy!
