Little Dinos Don't Hit (Hello Genius) Board book – January 31, 2013

Not only does it clearly establish boundaries against hitting, but it also offers a fantastic guide on using hands in a positive manner. It emphasizes the importance of kindness while discouraging negative behavior in a truly gratifying and impactful way. The book's adorable and direct approach makes it an absolute essential read. My son is nearly two and often grapples with intense emotions, and I wholeheartedly believe that this book will greatly assist him in understanding and managing his feelings.

This is a great board book with a simple messages - don’t hit people, help them! I read it to my 2 year during a big hitting phase and he absorbed the message right away. Within a few weeks the hitting had just about disappeared and he loves to give out a big hug at the end of the book :)

Both kids LOVE reading this book - and to our surprise, each kid can read the book to us! The book teaches not to hit but to be a helper (and hug instead). It goes through not to hit your sister, brother, or grandma. I wish there were even more books in this series. Also, we can read this book 4-5 times in a row and not get bored. There’s great pictures and a lot to discuss within the pics too. Highly recommend this book, and it has reinforced not to hit too :)

My son loved this book however it did come a little bent.

So my son has aggression issues. This book was one of the first that I bought to help him with his coping mechanisms. He’s five now and still loves this book. Now we read it to his little sister. It’s definitely a favorite in our house!

My kids have always had a short attention span when it comes to books. These short and sweet books were memorized by my toddler after only a few reads - which is GREAT given the goal of these books! She loves Daniel Tiger and I find her repeating this she reads in this book (and all of them that we have from the series) just like she does with some of the cute jingles from Daniel Tiger about listening, emotions, etc. We will take any good influences we can get on being nice to her little brother!

Good book, my son loved it. Hit me with the book after reading it though. How ironic.
