Awesome Lemon Coolers!
Wow! Just like the old Lemon Coolers. Flavor is very much the same as I remember. They have a little yellow color to them, Lemon Coolers used be all white, this is the only difference I recognize. I have been looking for these for the longest time and am so happy. The Girl Scouts had an acceptable replacement a few years back but not any more. I am not a huge cookie afficiando but for some reason these hit the spot. I have almost finished the original order of 6 boxes, and have turned a friend into a fan as well. As a slim person there aren't many if any other things I can eat a box of, but darn these things are great and almost addictive! Please give them a try, I hope they continue to make them!

Heartbreaking
Huge disappointment. I had been salivating the entire time from order to delivery but I can't even finish the first box. Not nearly as tart as the originals. Strangely crispy cookie with a weirdly moist sugar coating. How do they do that? Lemon Coolers where are you?

Lemon cookies passable
These cookies have a lemon taste, but it is not tart and tangy like I would prefer. They taste a bit like too much flour. Rather dry and lacking in the WOW factor.Family will eat the 6 boxes I ordered, but I shall not order these again.

Yummy
I was so excited to find these cookies! My heart was sad because I could no longer get these favorite cookies from usual methods ie grocery stores or girl scouts and then.....I found them at Cracker Barrel Restaurant!! I bought all of them like a squirel stocking up for the winter. I came home looked up the the makers of this delicious addicting cookie and there they were on Amazon!!!! I am so happy to have my favorite cookie back. It's not exactly the same but it is close enough....to trick this squirel. The lemon crunch on the inside of the cookie is not as strong as the original and the outside is not as stark white as the original but they are still "cool" to me..... I thought a part of my childhood that I hold dear was gone forever. Thank you, Thank you for making these available to us old kids!

Blast from the Past
I really enjoy these cookies. They are great with a cold, icy glass of iced tea on a hot southern day. They are very close to the cookies of days gone by. The ones I remember were Sunshine coolers and these are close enough to satisfy my yearning for them. I had even tried to make them from scrath, but they were not the same. This is my 3rd time ordering them and will continue to do so as long as they are available. Someone commented on the old cookies having "a yellow granule of something tart in the middle of it". This last case of cookies that arrived had that granual in it! I think they are listening to us! Hurrah Niche Foods! Now if I could only find Nabisco BBQ Niblets...I think that was what they were called in the 60's...life would be complete.

Quality not what it used to be!
As a fan of the original Nabisco coolers, I've had to make do with these imitations. Now once again, the food company's seem to enjoy giving us less for more. Barely ANY sugar coating in them now! Guess they had to save a few cents on all that sugary goodness at the expense of our taste buds. Thanks for taking away one of the last few pleasures of this earth, niche!!! :(

Not quite there...
Sunshine Lemon Coolers were the absolute best cookies ever. I tried these (got 'em at a Cracker Barrel), and wow, they sure aren't the Sunshine Lemon Coolers I knew and loved. Every now and then, I'd get a bite that ALMOST made it, but in the end, they just don't measure up. It's akin to a real Coke vs. a store-brand generic. Too much powdered sugar and not enough lemon.
