Has anyone removed this sprinkler and capped off the water line? I need to let an area dry out. Other than this wrench, is there a specific cap?

That wrench will remove the head (watch youtube) but yes you would need a plug to cap it off, same size as the sprinkler.

The Rain Bird impact sprinkler i have is not the Maxi-Paw, will this still work?

I know it will work on the Rain Bird Mini Paw but if is something other than that I don't know.
