I buy these light bulbs for a customer of mine who has string lights hanging from their pergola. Being a pack of 25, I can replace the bulbs as needed. They can wear/burn out, being used outdoors and exposed to the elements, but so can anything else. I've also recommended these to people I have talked to in Big Orange/Black home improvement store, when they where looking for these bulbs and could not find them, and they were so happy that I knew about these and shared it with them.

Bought these as replacements for our string, which was blown down in the wind. Only five bulbs broke! Have had the originals for three years ; durable, and adorable.

Great replacements..

Just a note that these are not the same color as the string lights bought at Costco. They are brighter and a bit whiter. Not a huge deal but it is noticable I have several strings and the random different one can be noticed. (If you care about that stuff) They did arrive fast and none were broken.

I really like that these LED bulbs are a great match for the incandescent bulbs that came with my string of outdoor lights. They look exactly the same. The color of the light is slightly cooler but only slightly. At the rate the incandescent bulbs are burning out it won't be too long before all the bulbs in the string are LED replacements. I can't report on how long these last since I just got them. Sorry.

And they light up. What more could we ask for.

1 year later, 1/4 of my lights are out. They are shatterproof which is nice, but 1 year is not what my expectations were. On a dusk to dawn timer so far below the “25,000 hours of life”
