Will this work on mk3 golf 94 with obd1?...need it for vcds

Cable should work but may require a 2x2 adapter depending on what your diagnostic port looks like. I am not exactly familiar with what the MK2 OBD port looks like but if it happens to be the same 16-pin trapezoidal form as is commonly found in OBD2 equipped vehicles then no adapter is needed.
