Yes, the dress and robe are separate.

Would this fit a 4T child?

If your child is a petite 4T, it will probably be too big. I bought this in size small when my daughter was 6, and it was a bit big (but she’s small for her age).

does this have a wand pocket?

We have several HP robes and I made a wand pocket by putting a strip of fabric to secure the area where you hold the wand and a larger pocket to hold the tip of the wand. Both of these are hidden from view inside the right or left fold of front. They could also go in the sleeve, if you prefer.

Super cute and perfect for Halloween! The size fits great for my 5 year old! It may not be the best quality, but it will do the trick for this season!
