AC 110V Delay Timer Time Relay H3Y-2 0-60S Second & Base Socket DPDT (AC 110V)

I measure my oil furnace burn hours, but there is a initial period of the burner blowing air only before the oil and igniter are come on. This delay timer starts the time meter when the oil pump valve opens for improved accuracy. The delay timer comes with a base to make the connections easy. The timer plugs into the base. No soldering required.

Perfect solution to repair a Generac generator transfer switch that would not transfer whole house electric load to generator. Generac quoted over $3,500 to repair. This time delay relay works great and solved the issue!!!

My vintage Craftsman rail arm saw used a current sensing relay at startup along the capacitor. The relay was such that it would provide power to the startup circuit of the motor through a capacitor and then turn off as the current dropped as the motor speed increased. That relay is no longer made and cannot easily be found in stock anywhere for a reasonable price. I had read that some other saw owners had used a timing relay to solve for the same problem. This relay can be adjusted from 1 to 60 seconds. I have it set on about 1 second to mimic the original relay. So far so good!

Works well, the instructions are lacking, but details on the Amazon listing were helpful, use a NC input to the relay for an off delay configuration.

This was exactly what I "thought" I needed, however, when comparing it to my existing equipment I found it was not the right delay timer relay for my project, with the error on me. Otherwise, this timer was quickly shipped, and I would use this seller again should the need arise.

Documentation on this is not very good. Had to search around to find out tying the control input to the load supply was necessary. Has + and - marked on it but it's AC so that really doesn't matter.

It has preformed as stated. I am using it for a delay off, to allow a light and fan to come on for around 30 Seconds when a contact button (N/O) is pushed. Great value for the money. If you purchase a similar item at an electrical supply house, it will cost $70 or more.
