Durable. I'm replacing mine after nearly 20 years of daily use.
Great wallet, long lasting. I love the inner zipped pocket, where I always kept a $50 for emergencies. Outer ID clear pocket is very useful for putting hotel keys as well as your ID. It's a little big, but really not the end of the world. Just bought a new one, attached are pics of the old one I bought about 2007, has lasted nearly 20 years. The outer ID window finally gave up the ghost after daily use. If you look closely, you can see the hotel card poking out the edge.

Compared to T.H.E. Wallet Mini
First I bought the mini version of this wallet. When I found out that all my stuff wouldn't fit, I bought the bigger one. So after I got the JR and before I sent back the Mini, I had a chance to compare and take pictures of them both. This review's purpose is to highlight the differences between the two wallets for people like me who are deciding between them. They're both made of the same cloth, which is stitched well and looks pretty sturdy. And they're not that far apart size-wise. The main difference is their orientation. The Mini holds your cards vertically, and the JR holds them horizontally. The Mini wants to ride in my back pocket vertically, with the opening at the top. The JR feels best with the opening toward the side.Coming from a standard leather bifold wallet, the first difference I noticed when I got the Mini was the single compartment for bills. I am used to a divided compartment; one side for money and the other side for receipts. The JR has a divided compartment and one side will zip shut if you like.On both models, each card slot can comfortably hold 2 cards (or 3 if you don't mind having to work a little to extract them). The biggest difference between the two, and the reason I didn't keep the Mini, is the card storage. The Mini has 4 slots while the JR has five. The JR also has a slot behind the inner ID window for more cards, a slot underneath the 5 main ones, and a little zippered compartment that's perfect for a couple guitar picks or maybe a pack of matches. So although the Mini is a good wallet, it's not able to fit all the goodies and accouterments of my life. Good thing they make the JR.

Excellent Wallet, Just a tad big
I purchased this wallet instead of a typical style wallet because I like having my stuff secure which a regular wallet typically just is not. I also like the fact this is made out of a more durable material that I expect will last me many years. The zippered pouch inside of the billfold area comes in handy for storing cash or other items you want to keep especially secure. The shark bite closure design is very simple and seems to be very effective. One thing to keep in mind is that this is a large wallet to carry around with typical clothes. If you are in the armed services it easily fits in to BDU pockets, but regular jeans or shorts will accomodate this but not with much more room. It is also a little akward to open if you are used to a regular style wallet just because of the design and the size. I do like that it has two clear pockets for ID and makes it easy to show ID without opening the wallet. I cannot imagine needing the full size version of this as an EDC wallet for a civilian.Made in the USA!!!Overall very happy with it even if it is a bit on the large size for everyday use. I would rather have a larger size and have this durability and security than a typical mens folding wallet. Will buy again when it wears out. Which might be a while. I just wish it came in OD green. The front plastic window had some black smudges inside of it from something when I bought it. No big deal though. I do kind of wish the logo inside was smaller.** 07/12/2013 update **I have to update this review and raise it to 5 stars. After I have grown accustomed to the larger size of this wallet compared to the one I used to have, and also accustomed to the way it opens I have really fallen in love with this design. It has been very secure and very well thought out. I love the zippered cash compartment that is virtually a secret to the unfamiliar and I love the shark bite closure.I just hope I can buy another one when this wears out... a long time from now.
