The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam Explained

I have this book and the 'Wine of the Mystic: "Rubaiyat" of Omar Khayyam - A Spiritual Interpretation' by Paramahansa Yogananda and found both to be drastically different. I realized something is wrong and started researching the internet to find out the answer to a simple question ' Why do we have 2 versions of the same book by Paramahansa Yogananda on his interpretation of the Rubaiyat'?. The answer was very simple,J.Donald Walters has simply used Paramahansa Yogananda's name to sell his books and has use the same tactic for other books as well. He claims that Paramahansa Yogananda gave him the manuscript, but had no qualms to complete re-write it with his own views. This is wrong at many levels and felt completely deceived.In short, if you want to read the enlightened and beautiful interpretation of the Rubaiyat, go ahead and buy 'Wine of the Mystic: "Rubaiyat" of Omar Khayyam - A Spiritual Interpretation' by Paramahansa Yogananda as that is the real deal and is so much better than this book.Also for other books by Paramahansa Yogananda do ensure it is by Self-Realization Fellowship publication and not by Crystal Clarity publisher.
