Great product! Updated a month later
Not sure about durability considering I've only worn them once so far to work, but I had to write a review as I was certainly impressed with this product. First off, I do manual labor work for a living so I basically live in my boots. At the end of a long day its frustrating getting my boots off because I'm so tired, but having that zipper on the side just relieved me from that burden. It has small vent holes on the side so I wouldn't recommend walking through snow with these too much. As far as comfort goes I gave them a 4 star. They have a built in cushioned heel and they are about 2 inches taller on the high tops then your average work boot which i thought I was going to like but it felt really good. Over really good boots and for the price its beyond worth it. I got a size 11 and fit me perfect.**UPDATE**BOOTS STILL IN GREAT SHAPE! VENT HOLES QERE GREAT FOR FALL AND SUMMER, BUT SUCKS IN THE RAIN LOL, BUT AS LONG AS YOUR JEANS COVER THE HOLES YOUR GOOD!!! ATILL AT A 5 STAR FOR ME THOUGH...WORTH THE BUY

some good, some bad
The good; 1. great traction on hills, I work on hillsides the majority of the time and these boots have the best traction of any boot I've used 2. the lacing system is easy, a single pull and your boots are tight, again best I've ever used and I own and have owned a lot of this style of boots 3. like the height and that they do not have zippers (which are uncomfortable) 4. the upper portion of the boot is very comfortable 5. mud doesn't stick to the soles as easily as other tread patternsThe bad; 1. bottom sole pad is thin, feels almost non-existent . 2. the top of the lower portion of the boots are a nice quality leather, but again not much-if any-padding surrounding your foot, your feet are not supported 3. they feel like they are a half size larger than a typical boot - maybe from the lack of padding?Overall, good for the price, great for hillside work or mowing / slower paced walking and shorter hikes, but not enough padding for running or long distance hikes

Mostly great, not good on greasy tile floors
Look great, little heavy, NOT as non-slip as advertised. Not good as work shoes if you work in the restaurant industry, I was sliding all over the place the one day I made the mistake of wearing them at work. Once broken in they're pretty great for long distance walking, but wear thick socks to avoid blisters.

I wore these military tactical boots on a three-week expedition in Morocco. Very good boots, very strong, very fit. There was no problem with climbing and digging, and when I came back from my trip, the boots had little wear and tear. As far as comfort is concerned, the boots are very light. I had prepared a pair of insoles myself in case my feet hurt after a long hike, but I didn't use the insoles until the end. The soles of the shoes are very soft. The air permeability is also very good, I have not blistered.When I went to Eismitte wearing these boots, the colder weather had no effect on my feet, because these boots were very warm, and the unique rubber lines on the ice and snow would not let me slip.So the performance of these boots is really worth the price, it has brought great convenience to my travel. Highly recommended!!

Comfortable and lightweight boots worth every penny.
I bought these boots a few weeks ago and have been wearing them everyday. When I received these in the mail, I tried them on. They were comfortable to wear and quite surprisingly lightweight. After breaking these boots in, they have been the most comfortable pair of boots I've owned. My feet don't sweat in these boots and I can wear them for almost 16 hours straight without any pains. Definitely a quality pair of boots for a great price.

Great pair of boots
Comfortable and waterproof. Great for the work I do, I’m on my feet for at least 10 hours and my feet doesn’t Hurt as much anymore.

Best cheap hiking shoes I ever bought!
First off they were a great price! I bought other shoes that were cheap and that’s what I got.These shoes seem to be wearing great the souls are holding up extremely well and I’d like the side zipper. I think they’re worth above what I paid for how well they hold up And are very comfortable also.

Work, play and every day!
The product is very high quality material construction and durable. It is a great deal for the price and looks really stylish quite frankly in addition to being utilitarian. I would purchase another pair and highly recommend these boots for work, play and daily wear.
