Don't listen to bad reviews, This product works exactly as it should!
Lots of people say its not sticky. Im beginning to doubt those people know how to use second skin products.. this is very sticky. And people who are allergic to 2nd skin will be allergic to all second skin. When applying do not do it in the bathroom while you have the hot water running. You should only apply to skin when your skinn is 100% dry like any other second skin. I bought this twice already and have had 0 issues with it. I love it. Makes healing my tattoos so much easier. I 200% recommend it. And there are places on your body like wrists elbow ditch and knee ditch that move around A LOT dont expect it to stay there for ever even brand name second skins wont. If it starts to come off. Take it off clean tattoo dry it with clean paper towel and apply another piece. Wear second skin for a max of 7 days after tattoo was done and boom youre done, take it off and clean, dry and apply moisturizer. If you are having problems with it look up youtube videos or go on reddit and ask for advice. You dont need 20-30$ 3nd skin this one is absolutely perfect.

Works perfectly
Great for tattoos and for me I'm using it for laser tattoo removal to help protect the skin so I don't break the blisters. It stays on super good and it's easy to apply. It's pretty straightforward and simple and it stays on unlike some other cheap ones I've gotten. Even taking like a shower washing your hands or a bath it stays on well. It will come off if you soak in the bathtub for too long but for like a shower if you have it on your hand and you're washing your hands it's going to stay on there. It's not thick so it's very comfortable you really start to not even notice it's there. For what it's made for it works amazingly and it's great.

Cool
I bought this product for my back tattoo. Let your Tattoo Artist apply the wrap on you. Leave it on for up to 24 hours depending on how much plasma is accumulated under the wrap. Plasma is very healthy and normal for your tattoo and is only viable after 24 hours. It heals your tattoo faster and that is why your tattoo is itchy on day 2. We all know if your tattoo itches, it is beginning the healing/peeling process of your tattoo. Common sense. If you have itching ALONG WITH bumps under or around the wrap, you are most likely sensitive to the adhesive. Remove it and do not add another one and follow traditional practices. After the 24 hours, clean your tattoo. Do not add anything under the wrap. Just apply it after you’ve air dried your tattoo and leave it on to UP TO 7 days. It will be itchy as hell under your tattoo. To remove your wrap, get inside the shower and pull DOOOWN like you’re removing a command strip. If it feels resistant or dry, run some water under the wrap and pull again. Once you have taken your wrap off, start applying unscented lotion.

Works ok, not fully waterproof
Stays on as long as you clean your skin with alcohol or dial and completely dry beforehand. Is not completely waterproof as it came loose during a lukewarm shower. I used it to cover my temporary heart monitor and it was not supposed to get wet at all. The moisture may have interfered with the results. It also left a red mark where it was placed for 1 day when I removed it. Not recommended for sensitive skin.

Great item and must-have if you're someone getting tattooed frequently.
This is a must-have for anyone that frequently gets tattoo work done. The ability to remove any saniderm applied by your artist the next day is a real benefit and aids in healing time and quality of the inkwork. This can also be used on light abrasions and other minor open sores. This allows the area to breath but also offers protection. Be sure to remove if leaking and reapply. Try to keep on for 3-5 days post inking. Some people may experience break-outs and rashes around the edges, but this is mainly a personal issue, and most people will not run into this issue. Also, when reapplying, be absolutely sure you are using non-scented soap, and dry completely, I did run into issues when I failed to do this and it led to a rash from not getting the soap completely rinsed off and the area dried.

Works exactly as advertised
I’m pretty sure all the negative reviews for this product are all user error. I’ve healed a number of tats with second skin and this product works exactly like any other. When applying, keep In mind:- There’s essentially 3 layers here (2 that peel). The first peel is protecting the side that sticks to your skin. The second is the actual membrane layer that sticks to your skin, and the third (outer) layer is a little thicker, kinda like plastic.- The little strip that you pull from the first layer is just a starter strip. It’s not nearly as sticky as the rest of the layer because it’s just for positioning. This is where I think folks are getting confused and saying “it doesn’t stick”. But once you get the positioning right, you then start to peel away the rest, which is the protective layer, slowly compressing to your tat as you peel.- Now the second (protective membrane) layer is securely on your tat.- But, there’s still a third layer, and it’s kinda rigid. Start in the middle of the blue ribbon and pull back in both directions (this third layer comes away in two pieces)- Now you’re just left with that second (middle) layer that’s protecting your tat. And trust me - it sticks just fine. In 4 to 5 days, you’ll know just how well it sticks because it’s kinda hard to pull off.- don’t take it off dry and don’t peel it off.- take it off in the shower under warm water. Slowly pull it parallel to your body as the adhesive gives way. Again, don’t peel.- you’ll see a little plasma and leftover ink stick to the layer. Completely normal and is not damaging your tattoo- you also may see what looks like leftover adhesive. It’s not, that’s actually peeling skin. Gently wash the area with soap but do NOT pull any of that skin off.- once you’re out of the shower, your tat will feel dryer than a bone. Start the moisturizing process 3 times a day.- there will still be some light skin peeling for the next 5 days, but after that, your tat will look as good as new.

Better options
Hard to use by yourself it bunches up and sticks together. Just as easy to use cling wrap instead. I don’t feel like a lot comes on the roll either.
