Very sturdy towel rail
Very easy to install it just stuck to the cupboard from day one and is still up now. Very sturdy and visually lovely.

Lovely strong hand towel rail.
This was stuck to the side of our new bathroom sink and stuck really well. However, we decided it wasn't in the right place. My hubby moved it carefully and it has stuck really well in its new location and is just as strong. It looks brilliant too and is strong.

Works well
Nice towel rail, well made with no sharp edges and a large adhesive contact area. I have noticed a few comments about lack of adhesion, this must be down to lack of proper surface preparation. I will explain how I prepared and stuck the towel rail to a tiled wall (now the bad boy is stuck and going nowhere). Firstly degrease the tiles where you want to stick it to, for this I used sachet containing an alcohol spectacle lens cleaner and rubbed it all over the tiles. Let the tiles dry for a few minutes and donโt touch the cleaned tiles until fitment. Next the important bit, using a hot air gun or hairdryer on high heat, heat the tiles until they feel quite warm to the touch in the area where the adhesive will go. When the tiles are heated, quickly remove the 3M adhesiveโs backing strip from the rail and warm the sticky side. This will make the adhesive very sticky and you will only have one chance to position the rail correctly, once the adhesive grabs the tile and you press the rail onto the tile thatโs it, permanent fix, itโs not coming off again. Itโs recommended that you leave the rail 24hours before you hang towels to let the adhesive have time to cure. I fitted mine this way and it is super stuck now and would be difficult to remove. Itโs all in the preparation.

Doesnt stick to wall
Rubbish. Made the mistake of buying a second one when the first failed to stick. Big mistake. Avoid.

Its good!
Review for JS Towel Rail 40cm This is a very substantial towel rail. I like the simple fuss free construction, rust free stainless steel and simple mounting. I'm always dubious about stick on items like this but the strip supplied with this has worked perfectly on a melamine kitchen cupboard. Overall very pleased with this (slightly expensive) item.

Not sturdy
Overall was fine for about a month and then adhesive stopped holding it and it just fell off. Then it started falling off any time I tried to attach it, overall wouldnโt recommend as it requires something else to hold it properly.
