I have been able to edit in real time with 6k footage in DaVinci Resolve with up to 8 nodes with no problems whatsoever. I will caveat that by saying I have raid setups and a powerful Gigabyte motherboard and Intel chip. That being said, I had a 1080ti in the same system and constantly had to pretender as I went and it really slowed me down. Since the upgrade I have not slowed down a bit. And more importantly, when I used the card to render out vs the CPU the difference was night and day. The CPU might take 20-30 minutes and the card took about 4 minutes. That's when I laughed out loud. Very very expensive but if you need fast bad, this will do it. Keep in mind, DaVinci Resolve does not take advantage of SLI technology. I was trying to connect two 1080ti cards and that's when I realized that and had no choice but to get this 3090.
