Does what it's supposed to do
One note - if you are new to TrueNAS this write cache is 'over provisioned' and only shows up as a 16GB in size even though it's a 480GB SSD under the covers. The way ZFS Write cache works is that it's cacheing each stripe to this device and then the device writes it to disk immediately. So only 16GB or so is needed but it is rewritten much more than standard SSD, so over provisioning is used so that there is lots of spares as over time this will wear out faster than a normal SSD usage.
