Economy wind indicator that does the job.
Works great on top of a flagpole.

Loving it
It’s just a simple thing that I can always see through the glass doors from my desk, but it appears to be made to last unless abused somehow and I really like seeing it moving around. Little spinning cups below it somehow to judge wind speed would be a nice addition.

Wow, this is really tiny, but it works!
This is a really tiny Windvane about 5 inches wide by about 11 inches tall. It came with no instructions, so it took me a while to figure out I had to push the orange vane down on the little retaining ring before it would work other than that size being extremely small it does seem to work. I thought it was a much bigger.

Works great as a wind indicator for long-distance target shooting
The media could not be loaded. I use this item as a wind indicator for long-distance target shooting (see photo and video). The Hawk is very responsive to wind direction, particularly in light and subtle weather conditions. I obtain accurate wind direction (in degrees) with the Hawk mounted on my wooden base and collect accurate wind speed with my anemometer. Please note: the wooden base and anemometer do not come with the Hawk. You must exercise care when packaging, transporting, and storing the Hawk because it appears to be somewhat fragile.

This little guy is perfect to let me know where the wind is coming from.

Best wind indicator for the $
Not quite as sensitive as a Windex but very usable for dinghy racing. One negative is there’s not a amount for it you have to make your own amount. I highly recommend it though.

Deer hunting wind gage
Put this on a stump 30 yards in front of my deer blind hoping it would last through a season. That was two seasons ago and two Michigan winters. Show it to friends and several of us have them. They detect the slightest changes
