Works well, even in humidity.
I use this in a plastic housing made for it and it is very accurate the first season in the greenhouse. I then stuck it in my garage and it is very accurate there as well. I've had it 4 months so far and have no complaints.

Great way to monitor wine cellar temperature
Works well, I use it in a wine cellar so that I can monitor the temperature of the wine.

Super Easy Setup
I purchased this as an ad-on for my Ambient Weather Station to monitor greenhouse temperature, soil temperature and humidity from the app and my indoor display. The set up was effortless: remove the back cover, toggle the pins to select the channel you wish to use (instructions included), insert the battery, replace the cover and BOOM - it automatically connects via Wi-Fi. Mind you, will need a strong Wi-Fi signal. I'm my case, I installed 200' radius Linksys extender in my garage.

Tells Water Temp But is Off on the Humidity
Purchased a new Ambient Weather WH31P sensor for my pool to replace another WH31P sensor that was damaged when inserting it in the WH31-SRS Solar Shield I purchased to protect the WH31P from the rain and direct sunlight.Sensor works great except in addition to showing the water temperature in the Ambient Weather app on my phone, it is also showing a 'Humidity' level, the 'Dew Point', and 'Feels Like' readings, which it isn't supposed to display.I emailed Ambient Weather support on 2/20/24 to find out how to get rid of the other readings, but the only thing I've gotten back from Ambient was the ticket number (101794) they opened. I like the Ambient Weather products I have, but their support for their product is lacking if you need help.

Excellent Range Temp Sensor
I use this on my dock to monitor the water temperature. It's about 250 feet from my main unit and connects and works perfectly! Love it

Remote Swimming Pool Temp
I use it to monitor the water temperature of a swimming pool. Put it in a water proofheavy duty extension cord protector (Menards $12) mounted under deck. Now I see the temp at the base station with all the other remotes. 2nd unit purchased. 1st one lasted 6 yrs monitoring pool in a zip lock bag....until the bag leaked!

Awesome Temp Sensor, Glad I Purchased It!
Bought this sensor to monitor our pool water temperature. I placed it on an inside face of a corner support in our Arizona Room. I bored a small hole through the support to accommodate the wire/transducer. On the outside face I installed PVC pipe and fittings routed to the pool approx. 3' below the water surface, offering greater protection for the wire/transducer assembly. Water temp. is now readily available at a glance. No more placing my solar temp sensor into the pool, turning it on, waiting for the sensor to run through 2 cycles making sure the sensor had stabilized and leveled out, then reading the temperature. It's freakin awesome!!Update! 4-10-22 (Checked Accuracy)Thought I would run an accuracy check, based on some past reviews of questionable accuracy for this temperature sensor. I placed my Super Clear solar temperature gauge in the pool, let it run through 2 complete cycles to assure the sensor had sufficient time to read the temperature and have the reading level out. The Super Clear reading was 74.8 F. keeping in mind the probe sticks in the water approx. 4", so for all practical purposes its measuring the temperature at the surface. I live in Arizona, full sun today beating down on the pool. The Ambient sensor reading was 74.1 F, so this comparison shows a difference of almost 1 degree. However the Ambient transducer is located approx. 3' under the surface. So it would make sense that the reading taken deeper would register a slightly cooler temperature. The readings were taken at the same time of day about 2 minutes apart from each other. Based on this little experiment, I'm completely satisfied with this products performance!!
