ROLATAPE 32-401 Professional Belt Driven Feet/Inch Measuring Wheel

Had one of these for years. Always kept it in the bed of my truck. It’s been frozen with snow, rained on, been through car washes, slammed with heavy braking etc. This is my second one after 3 years and a couple bundles of shingles slid and finally took her out of service.

Only heavy duty I could find on the market... mounted it on a tractor pulling sled to measure distance of pull for competition.. works great....

This tape suck! And so does the process to get it fix! They want me to ship it to them for $40 so they can fix their defective tool!! Never again will I buy and/or recommend this product!!! The plastic reset lever fell off after about 6 weeks of use!

Performs great, wish we would have bought one years ago! Easy to use counter, folds up nicely to store in your vehicle. The numbers on the counter are easily read. Can't say enough good things about this product. We found no downsides at all. Love it! Invest in one and you will agree you get what you pay for!

Good quality. The reset lever was loose, fell off and got lost, but having fabricated a new metal one makes this the best measuring wheel I have used.

Purchased the Rolatape 32-401 Professional Belt Driven Feet/inch Measuring Wheel and it was a big hit with the contruction guys at the company. May have to order more to ensure mine does not disappear. It arrived on time and in excellent condition due to the seller, thank you very much.

I am a claim adjuster. I typically purchase a measuring wheel from one of my local hardware stores for about $30-$60 bucks. I use this tool everyday, multiple times a day. Because I have gone through several of them, I took a look at the Rolatape 32-401 Professional Belt Driven measuring wheel.The package arrived in a timely fashion. When I opened the package, my initial thoughts were that I liked what I was seeing. I got to use this on day one as I was called out on a catasphophe loss for hail. I was excited.Unfortunately, in the first two days, I knew I had purchased the wrong tool. This tool does some of the same things the cheaper non belt driven ones do. For example... already the wheel spins but the dials gets stuck (I was under the impression re measures would no longer be necessary because it was belt driven...no dice here).Also, the grip: you can not hold the tool say from a measuring position and then lift it to the front or side of you because the grip will allow the tool to rotate. No cool when you have to use the tool to measure a wall or soffit or something.In the two weeks or so that I have had it, I know the tool is not going to last very long. Where the clasp locks the handle, this mechanism is already loose.Also, if you cannot store the tool in its upright position, as I laid mines in the bed of my truck, then the wheel/rim will bend.Overall, for the money spent, this was a bad investment, I wish I had continued with another lower priced measuring wheel.

This wheel resets with a lever, not a dial. Works great! Its heavier than wheels Ive had in the past, but thats what I wanted. Seems like it will last a long time.

this is the best wheel I have ever had. the belt drive works smoothly and doesn't clog like the other wheels. find it accurate on measuring longer distances.
