HasbroMr. Potato Head - Darth Tater

I recently purchased Darth Tater for the young son of a friend's birthday. This updated version of Mr. Potato Head is hilarious and awesome. Anyone who enjoys Star Wars will get a kick out of this toy. It's got lots of neat Darth Vader accessories and will make a great buddy to a regular Mr. Potato Head, if you already have one. Probably the best thing about Darth Tater is that you can see his eyeballs, even with the Vader mask on. This is truly a creative cross-over toy that I'm sure Star Wars fans...oh, and children!...will definitely enjoy!

I've been looking at Darth Tater off and on for years! I think he's completely adorable. Finally decided to order him for our Christmas work party white-elephant-style gift exchange. I know he's going to be a big hit, and probably stolen a few times, since I work with many fun-loving guys & gals, and most have several children! :) He arrived WAY earlier than predicted (by WEEKS!) and in perfect condition all the way from the UK. I'm exciting I get to look at him for a few months before giving him away! I may have to order another...

Take one of my favorite childhood toys and dress him up in a costume from one of the greatest films of all time... a must have! I have him up on a shelf at my house and everyone that comes over points it out. My son (18 months) loves to play with it and so far it is taking the punishment very well.I think it is worth noting that the base unit is just like any other Mr. Potato Head so you can mix and match pieces from the regular toy.

It's a Star Wars Mr. Potato head... what more needs to be said?!Well I suppose the other thing I could add is that this is not a toy for playing with really, it's more of a fun piece to put on your desk at work or next to your other favourite Star Wars merchandise that you might have on display at home. I can't really see a kid "playing" with this toy.If you're a Star Wars and Mr Potato Head fan, you're going to love this... if you're not, move along to something else :-)

I bought this item for my Star Wars collection but let me tell you that it's a great toy for kids, my 4 year old niece loves it and the durability makes it possible for me to put it back on top of the shelf as part of the display after she's done playing with it.It comes with all the basic funny face stuff from the original Mr PotatoHead we've all come to love and the Star Wars parts look great on it. Definetely a must have for any worthy Star Wars fan, or as a nice, safe and healthy present for any kid in your family. A true classic.

My grandsons, 3 and 5, love Star Wars. Their favorite characters are Darth Vader and R2D2. I bought Mr. Potato Head Darth Vader and R2D2. They came just before Halloween and the boys decorated their pumpkins with the pieces. Wish I would have taken a picture. The only draw back is the small pieces could be choking hazards. Their little sister is only 18 months old and puts everything in her mouth. They are only allowed to play with the Potato Heads when she is napping.

Darth Vader as a potato, what a brilliant idea! I can't believe it took them this long to get this product out on the market. I had a lot of trouble getting a hold of one because they kept going into an unavailable status, so when they were available, I bought three! I have one of them proudly displayed on top of my television, next to my silver foot tall Darth Vader Pez. If you don't have one, you should get one. The only thing better might be if they brought Mr. Potato Head's pipe back.

While I got the potato head in great time, it wasn''t the one in the picture. The package only contained the potato head and the Star Wars gear, not the extra tongue and eyes. It was a birthday present and I didn't want to send to back to England. If it had been from America I would have sent it back. I definitely feel it was a "bait and switch" situation.
