Quite a different approach, the two buttons are more secure. the waistline folds over easier though.

I used to have suspenders but over the years they have worn out. I needed a good looking not too expensive to buy but expensive looking suspenders to wear to a more dressed up party. They are not leather but look classy and the buttons that came with them are good. A quick sew on of the buttons and away I went. Funny, I got a lot of compliments on them. Something about suspenders of this style just look classic.

The buttons were a great bonus for me as I had sewed trousers without belt loops for a vintage look. I paid $1 a button for a second pair of trousers, so this product is attractively priced! The suspenders are well made and easy to adjust for comfort.

I have had these for a bit now. The leather is a fragile veneer over a man-made material. As you can see in the picture, it had begun to break down. Other than this, they have worked out well.When I order another pair, I do not plan on ordering another pari of these.Warning: you do have to sow six buttons on each of the pants you plan on using these with.
