It's okay, if you're trying to do a series of double-unders, but if you're an intermediate jump roper like me, I can do a few in a row, but then I just get whipped---literally. This jump rope will sting if it hits your body, but any rope will give you a good lashing if it hits you at high speed. This rope is good for any high-speed repetitive jump roping, but not so great for a general warm-up or a more relaxed style of jump roping. So yeah, crazy crossfitters who wanna be all hardcore will love this rope, but the average joe or jane will prefer just a regular 'ol nylon rope that you can get for pennies on the dolla.

i didn't want to pay 5x the price for the ones everyone in Crossfit was getting. most folks were getting the heavier cable and complaining was too heavy and slow. this is smaller cable and faster. Lack of double unders is my skill, not the ropes! handle is thinner hollow plastic and broke when stepped on in the gym ( still completely usable though…)

This is my first speed rope although I have tried others. The longer handles help make the motion more comfortable and natural. It is easily adjustable for a variety of heights.

It's the best jump rope I've used but I've only had it a month and the wire that the rope is made out of is already splitting apart and unraveling. The metal is very sharp too. Great design, poor quality.

Very thin wire. Cheep plastic coating. No weight to it At All. Really not worth the money.

I really like this rope, and learning how to do double-unders with it, and it is very fast and easy-to-use. Has good motion, no catching as it revolves. I am definitely satisfied with the purchase!

Received this rope as a gift this month, and I cannot believe how efficient it is. For the price, the quality is great. It is extremely smooth and light. Having previously used equally priced speed ropes, my DU # was unimpressive at best. Let me just say it has improved tremendously. The bearings are great for me and spin pretty effortlessly with no friction, though I guess the 18 cm handle length isn't for everyone. Also, it took me awhile to adjust the rope length properly (cool feature, by the way!), but that was probably my own inadequacy. It's worth a try for all those looking for a good speed rope, and the price is unbeatable!
