Can this be used to juice pomegranates?

Absolutely. Just received today and juiced about 2 dozen pomegranates. Juice comes out clear with just the odd seed or two getting through. Although the press is heavy and stable, you will have to hold the back down while pressing pomegranates. With citrus, it is a one-handed operation.

Do you offer a longer main bar so a pint glass can fit under it?

This one does not have a longer bar, I had to use a measuring cup to collect juice because i could not fit a regular tall glass under and the bottom part of the stand is too narrow to fit a bowl

what size glass fits under the juicer?

Out of the box a 4 inch Tervis tumbler which is 8oz. I believe the juicer height is adjustable to accomadate a taller glass. My wife and kids absolutely love it.

The upside down cone that touches the upper part of the lemon when you squeeze it: can you detach it to clean thoroughly?

No, it’s not detachable. However, it can still be cleaned and it’s very easy to do.
