I don’t know what’s gone wrong but the plastic but is spinning in place, can’t seem to grip the plaster nicely - any help?

If you've tightened the screws and the secting pieces aren't gripping then it could be your plasterboard is thinner than the kit is made for? If not then I guess you could exchange for a new kit but as it's designed to be all out of sight then as long as it's not falling out then it shouldn't really make a difference in the big scheme of things.

Is it possible to just buy the grommets on their own, as I won't require a hole saw every time I need to run more cables?

Hi. What is the depth of this product? I will be needing it for plasterboard that is dot and dab, with about 25mm gap between plasterboard and cinder.

Mine is on dot and dab. It was tight, but it’s in and looks great. Had to cut a little chunk out (I think) for the cables, but it wasn’t difficult.
