Accurate, pound enough to hear over instrument but doesn’t get I the way, attractive.

This is an adequate metronome. It measures time and is fairly easy to use but is made of plastic and metal not teak as it seems to be noted.

I purchased two of these items, one from a different vendor in black that was half the price and works just as well. I actually gave it as a gift, but had I known there was little difference I would have purchased two the others, to be perfectly frank. In the end, both items were made of plastic and worked about the same. The one distinction I noted however was that the bell function on this model worked better. The other item I purchased offers a better way to protect the metronome in transit. It has plug that inserts at the bottom that holds everything securely in place in transit, much like a lamp cord, which holds once inserted, that keeps the mechanism secure in transit.

This was a gift for Christmas so we didnt open it until much later after I bought it. The metronome arrive broken. We contacted the supplier right after we discovered it and a replacement was sent out two days later. It's perfect. The only reason I marked it down on stars was because it was broken and the instructions were not clear. We had to go online to find better instructions.

I was very pleased with the Antique Mechanical Metronome. It was exactly as described on Amazon, arrived promptly, looks great on my piano. It is easy to use and I would recommend it to anyone.

I don't like business names written on the front of products I purchase, When looking at the photo during purchase, there was no titling. Once received- the word "Friend" is directly on the emblem front and center.- sneaky and not appreciated. I would not have purchased this had I known.

Bought this item to time my picks on the banjo. I needed a metronome that was loud because the banjo is loud. This does the trick. Just what I was looking for.
