Great boots but it’s missing the tab that is shown in the picture

I ordered the black boots to use for cocktail attire, attending weddings, funerals, and other moderately formal situations. First pair arrived immaculate in brand new condition and having never been tried on previously. These boots come with a travel bag, presumably so you can try on the boots without scuffing the leather sole, but it also makes for a nice accessory. I returned the first pair because they were slightly too tight in the width on my larger foot. Second pair, a half size up, came with slightly scuffed soles and the start of creases forming on the vamp. Someone had clearly tried them on, walked around in them indoors, and decided to return. I was a little disappointed in the creasing, as it felt like the leather was from a bit more of a belly or other grain-break-prone region of the hide vs. the first pair, but since they fit well and still looked good, I decided to keep. They have polished up nicely and I can't wait to wear them more.

I bought these for the office, social events, and to dress up a bit. These also look great with jeans, or trousers. The grey suede is a nice color and goes with a ton of outfits. The suede leather already showed signs of wear after just a couple days. These also show stains very quickly so be sure not to spill anything on them. Definitely not a good rainy day or puddle boot. I will clean/protect them regularly and use cedar trees to extend life. I ordered 1/2 size down from normal, and they fit perfectly as others suggested. Only 4 stars because these will not be as durable as I hoped and not a great every day boot. I think they will make it in my rotation 3 days a week this fall and winter. But I suspect the suede leather is too fragile to look great with excessive wear. In summary, a great high fashionable boot good for narrow to medium size width feet. Not a durable choice for an every day boot.

I’ve owned these boots for a couple of months now. I wear them often and they are definitely water resistant and very comfortable for long days walking or standing. They are really good boots and look very sharp with almost anything you wear. I highly recommend.

Not durable, at all. Might be good for anytime that never walks on concrete. Several weeks in, sole started wearing away. Bought in June 24. Siemens 24 I had to cut lining off the sole, because it was breaking and tearing away. A few months later(March 25), rubber insert on sole broke out. Wearing roughly 3x a week resulted in the pics. Love the color and fit, but it falling apart so quickly is unacceptable. This is my 3rd pair from this company and each version fails sooner and needs to be replaced. They need an insert to be comfortable, but still impacts the inside sole of the boot. Would not recommend

Item arrived worn, scuffed and obviously used. If I purchase a new pair of boots, is it unreasonable for me to expect a *new* pair of boots? Added an extra star because despite the condition, they fit well. I've exchanged this pair to give them another chance. If the replacement pair arrives in a decent condition, I will update this review. If I don't, you can assume the worst. EDIT: The replacement pair arrived in a much better condition, so I've updated the review as promised and added another star, so 3 stars total. Just be aware that judging from my experience and others here, Thursday is shipping obviously some pairs of used boots as brand new and hoping we don't mind or notice.

Totally impressed with these shoes - always been hesitant to try a Chelsea boot but with how sleek and minimalist these are, they are my new favorite. First time trying them on - they felt amazing, way better than the Scouts. I went a size down, worried that they would look too long and pointy and it was perfect, even felt a little stretch to the material where it didn’t feel like it was crushing my toe-box. Perfect for neat casual attire in the workplace or for a date night.
