Great ease of use, good quality.
Works nicely. This design meets my picky criteria for a metronome that needs to be used often. The dial is my preferred way to adjust tempo, due to ease of use, and visibilty. The click tone is an agreeable wooden sound and volume is adjustable. MInimal bells and whistles. And now I see this model is available in white, which is nice.

good; dial is more legible than the prior model
The larger white numbers on a dark background is a big improvement over the Seiko SQ50 model (tiny white numbers on a red background). I personally don't like the flashing red lights at the top of this model, but that was easily remedied by a strip of black tape. The two wood-block type click sounds are both decent, in my opinion.

Great Metronome With a Dial
I'm a professional musician, and frequently use a metronome when learning technical passages. I highly recommend this metronome. The Seiko SQ60 Metronome is battery operated with 2 AAA batteries, which last a long time.. There's no need to recharge. There are two striking features about this metronome. It has a DIAL! It's so much speedier to change metronome markings using a dial. I much prefer this over push-button metronomes. Also, it has a full range of volume adjustments, from very soft to very loud. Many of the electronic metronomes are just not loud enough. It's very well made and study, but portable enough to be tossed into my backpack. If you're looking for a metronome with a dial, this is the best I've found.

Consistent Metronome for the Price
The metronome is loud, accurate, and easy to use. It performs all the tasks expected of a metronome at a reasonable price.

Red LED "pendulum" distracting
Almost everything about this metronome is great, but the red lights flashing like a pendulum across the five LED's was too much like a strobe light for my eyes. I simply could not handle it and did a return. Were the light to move without a break from one side to the other, like a pendulum, that would not be so distracting to me. Having that "pendulum" broken into five separate lights probably seemed clever when it was developed and may work for many. I ordered instead the older Seiko SQ50V which has one red bulb flashing on the beat. This one works much better for me, although the SQ60 is a bit more compact. I don't think that one is better built than the other. Other than the LEDs of the SQ60, its overall design and colors are more appealing to me than the SQ50V, but at the end of the day, I just want a steady and simple metronome beat.

Very helpful and accurate!
This Seiko metronome works great — the tempo is accurate and steady, and it’s been really helpful for my child’s practice. The color is clean and simple, which we like. The only minor downside is that shipping took a little longer than expected. But overall, very happy with this purchase!

Great metronome!
Wonderful metronome. Nice elegant design and function. Definitely loud enough. There are two metronome tones, one clave and one combination clave and beep. The clave and beep is louder but I did not like the tone. The clave sound alone was very pleasing and I found it to be loud enough.

Good
Easy to operate and tone options are not annoying.

This is my second Seiko Metronome. The first one is about 30 years old and still working perfectly. I just needed one for home and one for work. Can't praise them highly enough. batteries last forever and I love the dial. It's so quick and easy to change the tempo and it's got nice loud click that's easy on the ear.

Es un metrónomo confiable. La batería dura años. La mejor opción es un seiko.

My older metronome (several decades old) had given up the ghost, this one has more than filled the gap, I also use it to time exercises that need timing counts

The positives) The beats have a pleasant mechanical sound - not that dreadful pinging that many metronomes have. It is more compact that the SQ50. The negatives ) It feels flimsier than the sturdy old sq 50. The oscillating lights aren't particularly useful. The beat has to be re-selected each time it is turned on. The switch could be bigger. Overall , I should have got another SQ50. It seems to be yet another case of change just for change's sake.
