This was easier to replace than I expected. I always choose the screen-digitizer combo, because replacing just the glass is more difficult. Worth the money to get the whole package. First time doing a tablet. Took about 10 minutes.

For those of you who have a hard time getting this replacement touch screen and digitizer working. I had the same problem. The issue is with the fact that, at least with mine, there was no PCB connecting the touch screen with the rest of the unit. I had to take the part off of my broken unit to get it connected. I would say that that was difficult to install. However, where this unit connects to the rest of the tablet would be just as difficult because it's a similar connection. So, my only gripe was with the fact that I had to take a part from my broken unit to complete this. Otherwise, for those of you who connected the missing part and it still didn't work, try performing a soft reset with the power button + the volume down button. Hold them down just long enough for the screen to go black. Then, let it boot back up. See if it works then.

I finally got around to opening the box as I was waiting for someone to install new screen. The screen was chipped with a small crack upon opening. The plastic tools provided were horrible. For the cost of this screen, I would expect a perfect screen, better tools, and instructions on how to install. I had to google this, and ultimately opted to have someone else install that had experience. Ultimately, since already had a cracked screen, and this chip/crack was smaller and with having removed the previous screen before taking the bubble wrap off the “new” screen I had no choice but to install and keep it.

It works perfectly.. and got before the delivery date!

The item arrived exactly as described. Installing it was easy after watching a you tube video. I had to reform part of a corner of the case to make everything fit. This was a repair to a tablet that was given to me as broken. The owner dropped it 3 days after getting it so replacing the screen should have made it like new. The double stick tape that came with it was not good enough. I had some industrial automotive tape that I ended up using.Not sure if the screen is a problem or the tablet itself. Sometimes the touch screen just does not work. I am playing Boom Beach and Angry Birds 2 on it, and both are very laggy when it comes to the sensitivity of the screen. I have tried several settings to improve this.I am running the screen without any cover on it, pressing directly on the touch screen with both a stylist and my finger. Sometimes wetting my finger makes a difference in performance, other times it does not.

Glad it included tempered glass and adhesive! Works flawlessly, made my mom happy, I think.

The screen is nice and bright, but the sensitivity could be better!Kind of difficult to type on and it seems to be slow to respond...Not the best.UPDATE:THIS SCREEN HAS BEEN VERY FRUSTRATING TO USE! I'm replacing it.I thought I could live with the glitches but this will drive you crazy!Typing and touch selection is none responsive and inconsistent. Swipe control is glitchy to none responsive. The whole tablet seems slower.Even typing this review is mind numbingly tedious!
