Believe everything you hear about these speakers!First off, it is important for me to state that I purchased a PAIR of these speakers to run in TWS (True Wireless Stereo) mode - as I have ZERO interest in running them as a single "Mono" channel. All of the following is based on pairing and using them as a set of 2 "paired" speakers.These are incredible speakers - made even more amazing by the fact that they are so small!I gave these speakers the "Acid Test" for clarity and distortion - a song by "Tonic" called "Wicked Soldier". Almost every pair of speakers I have ever tested has muddied and distorted when playing this song at high volume... but not these! Every instrument and the vocals came through clear, crisp, and loud without distortion. Truly amazing... I have had $200 desktop speakers fail this test!These speakers have flashing blue lights, which you can turn off on one speaker or both speakers by simply pressing and HOLDING the play/pause/answer button until the lights go off (or back on again, if re-enabling them). Some reviews have complained about the "Light Show", so there's your answer for how to disable it for those who are inclined. I personally plan to keep the lights off... to increase battery life while running them as mobile devices (my main intended application).Other than that, I just need to say that these are louder than I was expecting given the small size, they are more than adequate to fill a medium sized room with GREAT stereo sound!In short, BELIEVE all the hype about these speakers! They are truly magnificent! :)EDIT: I have spent several days testing battery life, at full volume. I listen to an extremely eclectic mix of music, everything from classical, new age, rock, metal, trip-hop, hindustani, techno, downtempo, and gangsta rap. I tried to give these speakers the widest range of different musical samples possible, to both overdrive them and to give them an opportunity to reveal subtle nuances with softer music (though still at full volume...). The manufacturer claims 2 to 4 hours of battery life on these speakers. I have found that those figures are a bit conservative... in most tests I got at least 3.5 hours, and one test gave me almost 5 hours of life from a single charge. VERY ADEQUATE considering the size and portability of these fine speakers! I continue to be impressed with this product and the engineering that went into it!Disclosure: Unlike most reviewers here, I DID NOT receive these in exchange for a review. Instead, I bought TWO SETS of these speakers at full price, with my own money. One of the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon.com! :)

WOW. At first, I just tested a single speaker. It sounded good, but not amazing.I then linked them by setting them to TWS mode, and holy smokes, I think they sound better than my desktop 2.1 system speakers.VERY IMPRESSIVE for such small speakers. The speakers are 3W drivers each. I've have other Bluetooth speakers that are 3W, 5W, 10W, 20W total and they sound mediocre. In fact, the speaker with the highest Watt rating and cost the same as this unit sounded HORRIBLE even though they were able to produce bass. These speakers sound fantastic when paired in TWS mode and placed in a good spot, with a full sound, it has the depth in its sound. Basically it sounds good and reproduces sound well even though they're small. It's not just about size or Watt rating. There's so much more to a good sounding speaker. Whatever Soundance has done, it's respectable. It has a angled cutout so that it can be stood diagonally, which is the way I set it and it definitely makes it sound better at least in close range. Speaker placement is so important w.r.t. hearing things the best. The ability to separate out the drivers left and right sets it apart from a lot of those single direction single unit bluetooth speakers. That's a big limitation that this paired set does not have. Product purchased at discount for review. Only con is that there is no on unit volume control. I have my device volume at 1% and the speakers are still loud.Comes with 2x MicroUSB charge cables, 1x 3.5MM aux cable.

Use case:I bought these speakers so that I could improve the quality of sound I was getting from my bedroom TV.Cons: (I start with this because there are a lot of them)1.] The lights can be turned off but do not stay off. By this I mean that if you turn the speakers off and on again, you need to turn the lights off again.2.] The stereo pairing does seem to connect however it is very choppy and keeps disconnecting over a short distance of some 80 inches. That is the distance from my bed side table to my wife's bedside table.3.] The speakers will loudly announce that they have disconnected and have reconnected etc. You cannot disable the status messages.4.] The stereo mode is not perfectly in sync. The right side speaker is slightly slower than the left which creates a weird echo type effect which isn't so awesome.The distance from my TV set to the speakers is less than 16 feet. Most likely about 13 but for the sake of this review, lets say 16. The packaging says it has a range of about 15 meters. Well that's nearly 50 feet. A single speaker is unable to maintain a constant connection to the TV and stream audio from it. This is a pity as my JBL headphones have absolutely no problem with this. Most notably, there is no lag with the JBL headphones. The Soundance Bluetooth speakers seem to add about a half second of lag so the picture is out of sync with the voice.Pros:1.] The packaging was pretty good.2.] The manual was pretty simple and easy to follow.3.] There were 2 micro USB cables supplied so you can charge both speakers.4.] The speakers themselves look quite pretty, comprised of clear perspex looking material and black plastic. From an appearance perspective, it looks like it should perform a lot better than it did.Verdict:Luckily I have 2 Amazon Echo dots and these speakers do sound better than the echo dot does so I will be using them for that instead. They are a bit pricey for their intended purpose however I am a bit too lazy to send them back. If you are considering using these speakers for anything other than purely audio, maybe you should consider using something else. At $50 for 2 of these speakers that cant bounce signal around a single bedroom? I am sure there other options which may give better results than I have had.

Beautiful speakers! Alas the sound doesn't match the looks and the bass reproduction is quite poor. I sent mine back for a refund. Customer services were excellent though.

Great little speakers easy to set up. Great sound but quieter than expected. Amazing for the size though and highly recommended. Great to use with Alexa to create true stereo sound.

Value for price. There is a little lag between original source and the speaker when watching videos. But still good for music. Real stereo feel.
