I'm SO HAPPY I found this diffuser! I broke the diffuser attachment for my dryer about 18 months ago. I can't remember where I purchased the dryer but I love it. It's medium sized, ionic, has great power, the cool blast button plus 3 other heat settings and 2 speeds. I searched high and low for a replacement diffuser, to no avail, because no parts would fit. I tried everywhere, eventually schlepping my dryer with me to multiple beauty supply and retail stores after purchasing/returning several diffusers. I even considered buying another dryer with attachments but I didn't want to spend the $50-$80. I can't find mine anywhere, not even online and the others in my price range don't compare in power or features. I can't always leave my hair wet and I don't always want to blow out and straighten it either so I searched YouTube for ways to air-dry my curls or use a different blow-dry technique. It was then that I saw women using this Curly Co. product and raving about its attributes. I can't tell you who the users were but I can tell you they were so right! So I either linked through or searched Amazon for this product by name and ordered it. At first I was skeptical because it was tough to get it on my dryer barrel. But once I got it on: boom! I can quickly dry my curls even on the highest speed and heat setting without damage or frizz. It works like a charm, stores easily in my drawer while still on my dryer (I refuse to remove it) and fits in my suitcase while traveling. Even though I'm an excellent packer and pack light, I no longer leave home without my blow dryer. I'm sure you know how hotel dryers just can't hold a candle to your own if you have a professional or semi-pro dryer. One note of caution: if you use the highest heat setting, I suggest leaving this item on the counter to cool off before placing in a drawer or closed in space with items that may melt or become scorched. I've had this Curly Co. Collapsible Hair Diffuser for 2 months and I couldn't be happier. I may buy another one for travel in case I pack extra light and take a chance on a hotel dryer. I definitely recommend this product!

I purchased this collapsible diffuser for a vacation - I was tired of my standard diffuser taking up too much space in my luggage. Since returning from vacation, I use this diffuser everyday. It gets the job done. Sometimes the end will fold back, but I can push it out and hold it if necessary. I have shoulder length curly hair and I do not try to scrunch all my hair into the diffuser. This design fits on blowdryers with round openings. I have an old travel-size blow dryer with a narrow oval opening and the collapsible diffuser does not fit it, but most blow dryers have round openings. I highly recommend this diffuser.

I have fine, curly hair, and use a Conair dryer with attached diffuser every day at home. I purchased this collapsible diffuser to use exclusively with my travel blow dryer (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00006IV22/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_2?th=1) when traveling, and have used it a few times now. Overall, it works like it's supposed to and takes up a lot less space compared to my every-day diffuser. Some other reviewers commented about the tight fit when putting the diffuser on. I also had a hard time with this, but once it was on there wasn't a problem. Other commenters also mentioned the diffuser collapsing. I didn't have a problem with this, but I tend to hold the diffuser and not the dryer while I'm drying my hair. However, it isn't sturdy enough to lift my hair at the roots like my every-day, non-collapsible diffuser is. Pros: compact design (collapses to about an inch); light; easy to remove from dryer and collapse; diffuses the air like it's supposed to. Cons: a little hard to fit over the dryer nozzle; not as sturdy compared to non-collapsible diffusers; not strong enough to lift the hair at the roots for drying.

This is a good product. it actually fits my Sedu 4000i, which is a big plus. Also love that it collapses to store. I have thick curly hair (3A and 3B), and so i was excited to try this. So far i am having two issues. One, it tends to collapse to smaller size during use, esp when i get it closer to my head. Not sure that's a good thing. Two, and this may be an issue of me not using it properly, it seems to make my hair too curly! I like having the longer thicker big curls, rather than the tighter smaller and collier curls - and when i air dry, i usually have big thick curls. But with this diffuser, i end up with smaller tighter curls, which is not exactly what i want. As a result, my hair overall ends up looking another 2-3 inches shorter because the curls are tighter and smaller. So if your hair is wavy and you want more curl definition, this might be great - but for me, going from curly to almost coils/kinky is not a plus. But on the plus side, it does give me good volume at the top of my head and the crown.

My friend didn't have a diffuser so I found this one on Amazon and bought it for her. Since it had such great reviews I bought one for myself because maybe it was better than the diffuser I have now. I'm not sure if she's used hers, but I LOVE mine. I use it just like my old diffuser but my very curly hair just ends up staying more together and being less frizzy. I've actually gotten 3 compliments from friends and family about how they think my hair looked really great that day, and even one unsolicited one from a stranger about how they liked my curls. The attachment barely fit on my hairdryer, but I was able to get it on there and it stays on snug. I'm pretty sure it will fit on any hairdryer because it's kind of stretchy but firm. Overall I love this diffuser and I would recommend it to anyone. If you've never tried one and have curly or frizzy hair, take the leap! I also like that the company sent a little E-Book about how to take care of curly hair and use the diffuser. I learned a few tips that seem really helpful as well, for example not raking conditioner through your hair with your fingers in the shower, but instead to sort of smoothing it over the outsides. That seemed to make my hair a lot less "heavy" so the curls are "springier." This diffuser is way better than my old one!

I ordered this to have for travel. Tried it on two hair dryers that I have at home and it doesn’t fit either one. Will be returning

Perfect for travel!

I was using the Drybar diffuser with my Bio Ionic PowerDiva blow dryer. It was the best universal diffuser I found that fit the 2" nozzle and I liked it a lot until I dropped it and broke one of the prongs. I never took it with me when I traveled because its so big. Instead of replacing it I decided it was perfect time to try Curly Co diffuser that is collapsible and will also fit my beloved blow dryer. The results are impressive and my hair looks amazing! This diffuser is much better and my hair is curlier with no frizz. The shorter prongs made such a difference at the roots and it also fits my dryer like a glove. It was a quicker and more comfortable drying experience. The rubber is good quality too and did not get too hot. It also came with travel bag. :)
