Moxie (Rock-Hard Beautiful)

I loved this series so much. The relationship between them all was wonderful. I enjoyed finding out all their broken pieces and watching them help put each other back together. This was my first series by CM but it was absolutely wonderful and I look forward to reading more of her work. ***Ok so a little spoilerish now*** The second book really put me off with the MM action. NOT b/c it had MM but bc it was MM without our F. It was done in a way where she wasn't offended or jealous or anything but I didn't like it. I almost didn't read the third book b/c of that. It's such a good series and I loved the characters so much though that I did give it a go. I HAD to know the rest of their stories. So here we are again with more MM no F and different MM. I was totally shocked by that one and even though there was no jealousy with our F there was a bit of jealousy from one of our M and I didn't like that at all. I had no problem with the fact that there was some all the way MM but I would much rather it been MM with the original two M's and with out F. I really really wanted a scene with the three of them together when the M's went all the way. So yea, that's my gripe with the series. I just didn't like the F being left out even if she didn't mind it. Obviously it didn't bother me too much b/c I still rate it as 5 stars and I read the whole series. I'm just pointing it out b/c it is a definite deal breaker for some.

This book is so good and filled with so much love and so many kinds of it. There just isn't much to say without giving something away so I'll just say it was not and filled with plenty of how and downs but in the end everyone gets their happily ever after. And while the ending was perfectly adorable and satisfying I greedily want more. I would love even just a shorter book that maybe covers them dealing with everyday life, maybe more of copes mom, Timothy and pax's family and how those interactions affect them in the long run. And how they deal with their unique relationship once the public figures it out, not to mention more pad\ransom times. I would definitely loved to see if & how they get married, and if they do how do they tackle the living situation and do they have kids. Some many little extra things I would love to see if their future. Any way a great series, definitely one to read in order and good book would recommend.

The definition of Moxie is force of character, determination, or nerve. There's nothing mentioned about it being hot, sexy, emotional, sweet or being the perfect ending to the Rock-Hard Beautiful Trilogy. C.M. Stunich's Moxie definitely deserves the second definition. This is the final book for Lilith and the boys of Beauty in Lies. The band and their girl are on the world tour. It seems the shows are the only effortless part of the tour however. The guys and Lilith have settled into their unique relationship and it's working; making everyone happy in all sorts of combinations. The L word is even being thrown around. Lil has the guys sight-seeing every stop of the tour and the guys are all loving seeing Lil this happy. But there are still problems to be faced; Paxton's parents and fianceé, Muse's past, Mikey's brother Tim, Pax's and Ransom's relationship, Cope's mom. What will happen when the tour is over? Where will Lil live? How will they all be when life returns to normal? All of these issues are addressed and answered. All loose ends are tied up. If I had a complaint about the book, it would be the fast pace. It only makes sense that it moves quickly since the band is on tour, but I would have liked it to slow down once it was over. More normal time in Seattle would have been awesome. More details, more time with the guys individually and as a group would have been appreciated. I'm greedy this way. Maybe we will get a holiday Novella? Art show, wedding+commitment ceremony, baby?? I love that there were no loose ends. Each one of the individual relationships was a focus at some point in the book and the group became stronger because of it. It was good to see the group with lessened pain and angst. Lilith Goode, the once-broken little girl was key to making everyone whole. Everyone has problems; some people just have issues that are more apparent to the world. This belief and her ability to forgive, accept, and empathize were what made her fit perfectly with each of the guys. I loved how she made each one feel special and completely loved. And that they did the same for her. I will miss Lil and her guys from the band.

C.M. Stunich is quickly becoming one of my favorite adult RH authors. I had read the first two books back to back and couldn’t wait to get my hands on the 3rd. This is really an amazing trilogy that follows a traumatized girl that happens to be at the wrong place at the right time. In this book Lilith is with her 5 rock star boyfriends on a world tour band trip. Each of her boyfriends has their own emotional story full of hurt, betrayal, and heartache and it is amazing to see this strong and resilient women mend their hearts and bring the band together. This book ties up loose ends from the previous books beautiful. We get to see Paxton finally stepping up to his parents, Michael finally talking to his brother after what his brother did to him, Muse talking and coming to terms with his past, Paxton and Ranson admitting feelings and lastly Copeland finally realizing that Lilith isn’t going anywhere no matter who his family is (although I wish there was a little more of that story). The love scenes are amazing and I love how there is a story behind the books and not just sex sex sex. It is full of emotion, grief and most of all love and how one women can love 5 men equally. I would recommend this series to anyone looking for an amazing contemporary RH with a happily ending.

I have mixed feeling when it came to this series. Now first I love CM Stunich writing and certain series are absolutely incredible. However I felt this series was very lacking in many ways. Yes the sex scenes were incredible hot however the whole MM was not really my thing else when it comes to RH stories. I also felt that the author touched on some series subjects but it down played on how the MFC handled them. Don’t get me wrong, I thought the writing it self was great and loved how each of the guys developed but their relationship with the MFC just didn’t seem to grip me . I couldn’t feel the relationship between her and the guys. It felt rushed and honestly all three books didn’t really go anywhere.

This series will be my top two favorite CM Stunich reads of all time—second to HAVOC—and I felt my heart break while reading the last sentences of the book. Even though this series wasn’t as long as HAVOC (I think, because I finished this in three days while it took me 5~7 days to finish HAVOC), the story wrapped me so tightly with its presence that I couldn’t get enough and I turn every page like I’m gasping for air. The reason for my tears at the ending though was not because of the story, not at all, since it ended with a ‘Happily Ever After’ (although i’m gonna wait patiently for Reverie) but because of how it was written. Those last lines were exactly how I felt with this story that I started to sob. **VERY LIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD** ANYWAYS, for this book, we got to focus more on Paxton, Derek, and a little bit of Michael—their problems and issues, and more planning of how Lilith and her men plan to continue their life after the tour, and also more progress in their relationship. I’m not sure count-wise but I felt that there were less steamy scenes in this one compared to the former books but every time there was, the spiciness didn’t lessen at all. There was just more plot, and more conversations and I think that was a beautiful way to make way for the ending. I really loved this series and I was wishing to see more of Lilith and her five rockstars’ everyday life away from tour and I am hoping that Reverie will come soon so I can revisit this world because I will for sure miss these characters. Final harem ranking (for now, I guess): Derek = Cope > Ransom > Paxton > Michael I’m surprised that I didn’t get to love them all equally by the end but I felt a little bit lacking with Michael’s presence. I’ve also seen similarities between my faves in HAVOC—Hael and Cal—and Derek and Cope because those pairs have some real platonic yet tight bromance going on between them. I love it ♡

Rock-Hard Beautiful ending to a beautiful and emotional series. I'm sad to be finished with this one since there's no more Michael, Paxton, Ransom, Muse, or Copeland to read. Similar to book two, there's not much drama between the main characters, only small bits of angst outside of the RH caused by their collective past trauma, and then a reveal of Muse's past, which could be triggering to some. I loved that all six of them (Lilith and the boys) were consistent in their feelings for each other and didn't let anything get in the way of their relationships.

I am so sad to see this magnificent series come to an end. I admit this wasn't my favorite of the 3 books, but I still absolutely loved it and am still holding out hope CM will give us an epilogue so we can see the guys and Lilith in their HEA. This book picks up right after Roadie, having the guys tour around Europe and come back to the US in Seattle. We get to meet Pax's parents, his fiancee and then back home we get some insight on some of the other guys and their family/background. I still think Roadie was emotionally more powerful for me, unlike some of the other reviews I skimmed through, but I think its all about how the events impact each reader differently. In this book you can see how the group is better together, how they heal each other and make themselves stronger. They have to go through some more difficult times/have to break down more of their internal barriers, but they end up better together at the end. This series allows me to escape emotionally but also has a "nice" dose of steam haha. I love the Ran/Pax dynamic and wish we could get more. I disagree with a lot of readers that say they don't like them together since Lilith is not always involved, but in the story Ran/Pax have known each other for forever and if Lilith is ok with it/sees the love they have for each other, then thats all that matters (I know the characters are fictional!). This series left me with a series book hangover, be prepared haha. I am glad CM has continued with the RH genre, since she is fantastic at it. Can't wait to see what she does next <3

Eu amei essa história desde o primeiro livro. Eu simplesmente devorei os 3 em menos de 1 semana, pq me apaixonei por eles. Pelos personagens, suas histórias, seus amores, a forma como foram escritos... Simplesmente lindo! Só senti falta de um grande final. Um final mais intenso q combinasse com tudo oq eles viveram.

Pocas veces termino una serie pero les puedo decir que ésta no sólo vale mil % terminarla, sino que me ha hecho sentir que ojalá existiera la demencia del lector, porque las emociones que experimenté con Groupie, Rodie y Moxie fueron increíbles. Amé cada libro. Definitivamente están en mi top de los mejores libros que he leído. Lo recomiendo absolutamente!!!

This is the final book in this reverse harem series. By the time you get to this book you've actually forgotten it's a reverse harem. It's just a story about a girl and her boyfriends. And yes, there's five of them, but they're a family and all the boys are connected by friendship and history and music as well as this girl, beautiful Lilly. Lil is beautiful in character and personality, not just looks. She's a really special person and the boys are all in love with her. It has the potential to get real ugly. And it has its moments, but that's just part of the story. Lots of sexy times in this book but you know what? I didnt skip over them like I often do in new adult stories. I had to read some of them with my eyes closed lol, sizzling hot, even the bits I wouldn't have thought I'd like (that on-stage kiss). But it was so, so good. Going to have a book hangover for sure, considering I stayed up until 1am to finish.

I fell in love with all characters from the beginning and it only increased with the next books. This is an epic revers harem story with a HEA and panty melting "shagging" Now I'm wishing for my own Pax, Mikey, Ran, Muse and Cope...

One of my favorite series of books I've read. The first book consumed me...I read it twice just to re-live it. All of the boys are beautiful and each of their stories took my breath away. Lilith's story was tragic but i think the boys were the real story. I put off reading the second book cause i didn't want the dynamics to change or the story to end....I finally read the second book and almost cried at the development of each of the boys feelings towards Lil. I'll be honest the boy on boy twist blew me away and made me want to cry it was so beautifully written ( i say twist but i'd like to say i saw it coming and it made me happy ). Muse's revelation tore me to pieces and i couldn't wait to see him heal...although how that worked out almost destroyed me ~( in the 3rd book ) . I put off reading the last book as once again i didn't want to see the end of these boys that have burned them selves in my reading memory. I did find the 3rd book a bit rushed and some of the key elements were missing for me...The answers from Muse and Pax's healing....Ran's feelings towards the relationship between his two lovers...I felt it could have been pushed a bit more and it was a bit flat towards the end when they all returned to normal life. I do have to say though one of the most beautiful pieces in this book was at the end...The kitchen interaction between Pax and Ran....After Pax gave Lilith her brushes and placed something in Rans pocket ( i can't reveal )...I loved it and god it made me so happy, I will continue to re read these books and i will recommend to anyone who wants a brilliant well written love story with hot guys and a strong female.
