Simple easy and live camera working again
Works perfectly and so easy to set up. Can finally access my live view. Connectivity great. £40 is a bit pricey but thankfully I had a £17 voucher so used that to knock down the price to make it vaule for money. Camera good and sound good. Local storage working fine.

Saves you money ... eventually
This little gadget does, eventually, save you money, but it may take you a year and a half to two years to see that benefit. It's considerably smaller than I thought it would be, but allows you to plug in different sized USB flash drives. Connecting it up while not overly complicated was a challenge for my awful phone, but overall, so far so good.

Decent alternative to a subscription
I got the sync module 2 after having my blink doorbell and blink mini for over a year. Previously had the blink subscription but didn’t particularly want to pay for another year, so purchased this instead as a money saving option. It was super easy to set up, and is fairly neat and compact in size. If you want the app to save clips, you need to plug a USB into the module. Doesn’t need to be a fancy or special USB, if you have an old one hiding in a drawer somewhere, that’ll do. The module only needs power which can be via plug socket or USB cable (both included in the box) and can be put anywhere in the home as long as it’s got wifi connection. I can now do live view on the doorbell which I couldn’t do before on the blink subscription as my doorbell runs on battery not mains. So that’s a nice bonus.Hilariously, blink/amazon have added a delay from you clicking on a clip in the app to watch to when it loads, claiming it takes longer to load from USB which is honestly ridiculous in this day and age - I imagine they’ve done this to try and get you to use the cloud annual subscription instead which is very naughty of them. I’m not bothered about the clip loading delay but can see how it might frustrate people, especially if you’ve gone from cloud storage (via the subscription) to local storage (via the module). My only negative is that the module has annoyingly bright blue and green lights on them which is so unnecessary. If you set it up in a room where someone with light sensitivity sleeps, you may want to keep it upside down or get some of those stickers that block the lights.

Unreliable
Bought it to replace a faulty Sync module. Easy to set up, at first it was fine but after two days kept going offline and unable to reset straight away. Help desk was useless..Needed it to monitor a frail 86 year old lady with dementia from falls in her own home and I live nearby.I’ve gone elsewhere for some reliability and peace of mind.

Great Addition for Blink Security System!
The Blink Add-On Sync Module 2 has been a fantastic enhancement to my Blink security system! Setting it up was a breeze; I simply plugged it in and followed the easy instructions in the app. This module has significantly expanded the range and functionality of my Blink cameras, allowing for seamless connectivity and improved performance.I love that it supports local video storage, which gives me peace of mind knowing my footage is backed up. The responsiveness of the system has improved as well; I receive alerts promptly, and the video quality is great. If you already have Blink cameras, I highly recommend adding this module to your setup. It’s a reliable upgrade that maximizes the effectiveness of your home security system!

Does not work, locks you into a CLOUD subscription at set-up. the LOCAL mode does not work at all
If you looking to get the Sync 2 module to avoid the cloud subscription, they do not support you or admit it actually works. With a perfectly set up system, local Sync 2 and 2 blink mini camera, everything showed as configured and working 100% in the blink app, the cameras only notify you and will not save video clips to the local Sync 2 with 64Gb added USB stick as stipulated. The Sync 2 shows 2 camera connected, the USB stick formatted correctly (FATex) and the cameras working with the app , jumping in to look as needed, BUT. They will push you to use the CLOUD service free for 30 days. If you do this then find you have to stay on subscription, you will miss the return window with Amazon, they are doing this deliberately to lock in the subscription as the Sync 2 model using LOCAL storage does not work. There are loads of redit posts saying the same thing. You have been warned, if you want to use these in LOCAL not CLOUD mode, you will not get it working, nor will support actually help, they will blame every electronics item in your house as causing the problem...
