I originally ordered two. One arrived with a broken finial and most of the hardware missing. Both packages were torn and what was advertised as the included hardware was not accurate. Only 2 brackets instead of three. And there’s no way of keeping the second rail in place when you open and close the curtain. This rod set locks good but lacks significantly on the mechanics. has no way of however, the failure to proper hardware could result in sagging over time etc. further significantly impacts proper installation. This could be a good product but whoever Amazon is sourcing from has some major quality control issues.

This is exactly what I needed for my sliding glass door. I wanted sheer curtains for the daytime for a little privacy but also wanted to let light come in... but at night you could see right inside my house. So I needed something to let me have different curtains for different times of the day. Now I have two sets of curtains, one sheer and one blackout, and it's easy to move one set open or closed depending on which ones you want to use. The best method is to have both sets of curtains with grommets to make it easier to slide them past one another. I tried the back curtains with tabs instead of grommets and it was so difficult to move the curtain. Definitely recommend grommets! I was afraid this would end up looking like a hotel window (they have double curtains) but I am extremely happy that it didn't turn out that way. I think the final product looks very chic and I'm very happy with this purchase.

Nice solid rods which included a midrod wall support brace for my large window. Probably the same to install as most other products.The only problem I am not happy with is that the two rods are a bit too close together for grommet style curtains. They would work better if the sheers were rod pocket because the fold in the sheers gets folded by the front rod. This moves the top of the sheer drapes when I open and close my outer grommet drapes. Pay attention to the space between the two rods if grommet top.

Not great quality. Screws are hard to get in because they are right behind the dip for the rod and the screws themselves strip very easily which is a bad combo. Also one of the knobs arrived with a piece cracked off but I didn't want to deal with a return and needed to get the curtains up.. All that said they still look just fine once they are up and were one of the less expensive options at least

I have a wall of windows in my living room, and the afternoon sun shining through eventually motivated me to put up curtains. I ended up needing 5 of these rods to achieve the look that I was going for, so the price was also a bonus.The double rod is amazing, I love having sheer curtains. We still get natural light, plus have the ability to pull the other curtains over when we want to watch a movie without the sun shining through.

We are in the middle of home renovations and it took a little longer than we originally planned. I am 3 days too late to return…which sucks because this is crap. We unboxed today and found out we are missing 1 of the telescoping rods rod and a few of the smaller pieces to mount it. The rods are extremely small and feel thin. I highly doubt it would've held my curtains anyway. If you do choose to purchase this item, plan on very light curtains and unbox immediately upon receipt to ensure you have all parts!

I really like these and think they look great. The smaller rod is a bit flimsy, they are likely designed to be used with sheer panels which is what I used so it wasn't an issue. I agree with other reviewers that the screw placement makes them a chore to install but once they're up they look really nice. I have noticed that you need to open and close the curtains gently since the screws that tighten to hold the rods in place seem to come loose after awhile or don't tighten enough, especially on the smaller rods, so the rods slide occasionally when opening and closing the curtains. Since I didn't open the sheer panels it was less of an issue. Overall, I like these and think that they are well made. Sure they may not be top of the line but they work for what I wanted, look really nice, and are a good price.

You may need something more complex than a straightforward Philips screwdriver in order to install the uppermost screw, as it's difficult to access behind the bends in the bracket. I used a tiny ratchet I had kicking around with a Philips bit.
