Conair Tourmaline Nylon Brush, Round, Medium

I have one of these same brushes I have had for quite a few years. I went a little too hard through it with a comb to clear it of hair, and it caused some bristles to be pulled out. I really love this brush. It is still usable, but I OCD over such things, so I bought this new brush, and I expect it to last many years, as the one I still have has lasted. My hair goes about to the middle of my back. The bristles have just the right stiffness but are not too stiff, and the brush is the right length for a good grip. It has good tangle resistance. The only gripe I have about this is that I first ordered this brush on March 1, 2025, at the price of $12.67 to arrive March 5th. I got a notice that there was a delay, and the new estimated delivery date was Saturday, March 8, 2025. And then I got a notice needing my approval for yet another new estimated delivery date for Tuesday, March 11, 2025. I approved that and waited. I then got an email needing my approval stating that there is a delay in shipping my order because of a supply chain issue. And once I approved this new delivery date, I got a notice stating that we will email you as soon as we have a delivery date. So, it sat with no estimated delivery date. A day later I saw that if I ordered the brush again, I could get it by Friday, March 14, 2025. I decided to cancel the order that I had placed on March 1st, as it sat with no provided estimated delivery date, and I ordered this brush again, but now it came at a higher price of $14.99. Instead of paying the $12.67 it was to cost when I ordered it on March 1st, I had to pay $14.99 because for some reason I could not be provided a delivery date until I made a new order, and the brush did arrive today, March 14, 2025. This is a bunch of bull malarkey, but ok! I wanted my brush!

I needed a second brush this size for my swim bag and ordered this one. It's so much better than my older round brush. Dries faster, holds the curl better, and is easy to use. It seems gentler on my hair, too. I'll probably replace my original brush with another one of these.

I have purchased at least 3 of these brushes for myself over the last couple of years. Since it's my favorite I decided to have extras for my gym bag, car and a second home. Plus, my wife is always "borrowing" it and then it disappears only to be found in an odd location sometime later. Sturdy and long-lasting. I highly recommend it.

If you have curly hair like me that you want to wear straight ( I have a chin-length bob, shorter in the back) , this brush is the perfect diameter to get hair straight from the hairline/scalp, to grab the shorter hairs at the nape, and to provide lift and volume at the root. Tourmaline provides shine. This cost more than I would have liked to pay but it's hard to find so I was glad to be able to add it to my blow-drying-tool arsenal :D.

I got one of these free with a blowdryer a few years ago. I recently decided to buy another one as a back up, since this one was so nice. Why do I like it? The handle is metal, not rubber or plastic, so it doesn't get goo on it and get sticky from hair products on your hands. I can wash it off. It holds the heat nicely, it is the perfect size for shorter length hair, and the bristles don't grab my hair and rip it out. I would not hesitate to buy it again.

It's poorly made and it scratches my scalp.
