The adapter works perfectly on the Nissan Qashqai 2025 - N-Connecta, the connector fits, the installation is easy. The only comment I have is about the design of the Dongar Dashcam Power Adapter itself. The cables between the adapter and the USB connector could be about 2cm longer, because there is so little missing to be able to stick the USB part directly to the windshield or hide it under a plastic cover. With short cables, it is necessary to stick it from the back directly to the rearview mirror or to the plastic cover above the mirror, which does not affect the function, but it does not look very nice aesthetically. I also think that the pair of cables from the adapter to the USB connector could have been protected with some kind of tubing, because the adapter looks extremely cheap and fragile for the money. Of course, there is no problem improving it optically with fabric insulating tape, but it would be nice if it looked good from the factory.

Saw this product on an IG reel. I went to the website to make it was real. It is a real company. While on the website I wanted to make sure it would work on my vehicle which is a 2008 Nissan Xterra. I saw that Nissan was in the list of compatible vehicles but not my car model. I emailed the company and they were quick to reply back. The company rep asked if my vehicle had self-tinting rear view mirror and to take a picture of the back of the mirror. Once again they responded quickly with a link to the right dongle. I did order it through Amazon so I can have it delivered quickly. It took less than two minutes to install with little wire management required. One small zip tie for wire management is recommended in my opinion. It works great. This product is great if you do not want wires hanging, if you do not want to deal with running a power wire through your vehicle, and if your auxiliary outlets do not work(which this is my case). It powers my front and rear dash cam. Great product.

Just got it installed, but so far it’s working great. Took only like 1-2mins to install the adapter. Exactly what I wanted and everything is working as it should. I went with Dongar even at the higher price because of the well known reputation and the fact it said it actually included surge protection—although I don’t actually know whether that feature is substantial/effective enough to warrant opting for it. I will try to update this review after it’s been tested longer and maybe include some photos. It’s very discreet and completely unnoticeable from either outside or inside of the vehicle. The short USB cable I connected to the adapter was able to be tucked into the headliner. This adapter made installation a breeze and seems to be well worth the investment. I’m happy I went with Dongar instead of manually tapping the mirror cable or choosing a cheaper alternative simply for the peace of mind. A mirror or its cable can sometimes be an expensive thing to replace in case of mistake. Very minor complaint: I was pleased to find that it came with 3 very high quality 6in USB cables (USB-A, C, and Micro) however they were far too short to be useful for me even though my dash cam was installed right next to the mirror. Thankfully I had a good 12in cable in a drawer that I used instead, but I do wish they had just included a little longer ones instead.

Worked like a charm! Camera plugged in, powered and worked right away. Love this adapter! Saved me the hassle of having to run wires. Highly recommend it!!!

Use this to power a dash cam on a 2007 Mercury Mountaineer. Worked great. Kinda a pain to get everything tied up behind the rearview mirror, but that comes with the this type of adapter.

Easy install. Cleaned all the hanging wires.

It fits my 2011 MKZ with auto dimming mirror with internal compass. The way it’s wired, with 12V on pin 1 and low level voltage on pin 2, which is the Reverse gear input, it does work for providing power to the USB socket. Pin 3 is ground and the negative lead should have been wired to that instead. There’s no user-friendly way to swap pins 2 and 3. It’s a shame, really. Like I said, it works, but the USB socket loses power every time the vehicle is put in reverse.

Easy plug and play adapter. Used this on my 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV SEL and it was simply unplug the wiring from the rear view mirror and plug into this new on and then plug this new back into the rear view while allowing another wire to hang which had a USB port. I used this port for my Dashcam without issues and now turning the car on or off the dashcam powers on and off accordingly. No issues so far, wires nicely done, nothing is loose. Can't get any easier than this. Recommended for sure.

If you have a rear view mirror that is powered with auto dimmng this product is great. Did not have to run the cables to the DC port. Glad I bought this for our new 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV..easily installed and works perfectly with our dashcam!

Brilliant device, had it fitted in mins. I got it for a Nissan Qashqai epower. Well worth the money.

Contacted Dongar in the US to get confirmation of adapter for my new Nissan Juke Tekna+. They advised this one. Easy to fit and gets rid of the unsightly cable trailing down to the cigarette lighter socket. Just ordered a second one for my daughter's Juke.
