Great book
It is an excellent book with lots of great music in it however the piece listed as Invention in C major (J S Bach) is actually in F major as indicated by the Bb and the fact it ends on an F major chord. This could cause some confusion. Overall it is a great book!

Progressively harder
I am a year into my piano playing and bought this to start learning some famous classical pieces as I was getting tired of the "Old Mcdonald" approach utilised by many textbooks which are geared towards kids. It's not beginner's level. I would say that it is pitched at about Grade 3 and over and progresses pretty quickly to more advanced stuff. Mozart's Rondo Alla Turca for example is here and is Grade 8 on the ABRSM syllabus ( I believe).Nevertheless it's a great reminder of the things I am aiming to play and slowly but surely I am getting better and better at being able to play fragments and even longer pieces. There is a lot of material here and a lot of it is very well known so it is a lovely resource to have at home. I will be using it very extensively for years to come.

good selection, not best edition
As a teacher I have plenty of music books and always trying to find new ones since each student is different. This had a good selection of pieces but didn't really like how it was edited. Very dense, not carefully edited, like a 2 pages piece happens to be at page turns, melody lines ending just before end of line, new section starting on the last bar of a line, just visually not pleasant. I have all pieces in other editions and is much better readible in other formats. I also edited music before and know it takes a lot of time and careful planning to achieve that new sections, new phrases are clearly visible. To juggle with the number of bars to achieve a good reading format. It seems a bit rushed, didn't even find any editor info in the book. The selection is good though.

For those who have at least a rudimentary association with the piano
A super collection of pieces of classical melodies to introduce someone who has at least an association with the piano through contemporary tunes to the magnificence of music in hitherto a different dimension . They start to realise that Mozart was the unruly bad boy of his day but what beautiful excursions into the world of music he wrote , such exciting adventures exploring the delights of sound .Likewise those others who produced a real feast of sound .

Most pieces at Grade 3 ABRSM or above
Not for a beginner you would need to be at least a competent grade 3 pianist or above to get the most from these. Whilst some pieces have fingerings shown many do not. If you are a more advanced player this book should suite you. Those who have been studying piano for less than 3 years may wish to find easier pieces in other books.

Great book of essentials
It's a pretty excellent collection of repertoire. There's hardly anything I think is missing from this book. It encapsulates all of the best throughout history in order. Even though realistically it might be better to purchase these sheets in their respective collections separately, it's a great book just to learn the most recognisable and beloved pieces from in one place - and at a very reasonable price no less.
