Perfect for our household.
Just great...all the keys in one place, labelled and secure. Easy to set the combination but occasionally one button does not engage and I need to reset and try again. The unit is sturdy, easy to mount and reasonably unobtrusive. It has adequate room even for large cumbersome car keys. The number tags are useful in reminding one where to place the returning key but a little tricky to hook on in a hurry...the small split rings are easier to hook up and also supplied with the unit. A huge improvement on the five hook key hanger we previously used which was crowded, insecure (anyone could access any time they were in the house) and clumsy.

Fantastic key security when used with my LETHAL GAS deterrent!!
This cabinet is very well built of nice, strong steel. The combo lock works well. As an added precaution, in case anyone should be foolish enough to break into the box or try to guess the combination (and any lock box can be compromised) I have devised a somewhat severe but very effective deterrent. Upon opening the box (using the combo or by breaking in) I am rigging up a small sprayer bottle on a dead-man's release cable, which will dispense a puff of slow-acting lethal gas in the face of the person standing in front of the safe. (The gas will immobilize the perpetrator in about 60-90 seconds after exposure to skin or by inhaling). It could be lethal within another 4-5 minutes, depending upon the weight of the perpetrator. Inside the locked cabinet will be three vials of colored liquid: red, blue, and yellow. Two of the colored liquids are additional poison, but one contains a fast-acting antidote to the lethal gas. Family members will know to ingest two drops of the XXXX-colored liquid, which is the only antidote. (Obviously I cannot reveal the "color code" here). For crooks, the odds are not very good. Some may argue that this security method poses a risk of lawsuit, while others will recognize it as a "make my day" scenario. Either way, as the saying goes, "dead men tell no tales."

I absolutely love it... FYI also great for storing USB thumb drives ;)
I feel like this is a little on the expensive end of some of the less expensive small key cabinets. But well worth the price over the cheapy ones. Very glad I got it. It's heavier gauge steel than I was expecting and feels very solid. Will it keep someone with a crow bar out? No. It may put up a fight against someone with a medium sized flat-head screw driver. And you're not forcing it open at all without some kind of tools. But I wasn't expecting it to be a wall safe. Also glad I went with the touch point lock for something of this nature. Not a fan of all the digital stuff requiring batteries that may die or requiring another key for me to keep track of. And the touch point is a step up from the scrolling combination locks on the cheaper ones. And something I didn't realize until I got this is the knob you turn to open it is spring loaded so if you try to force it while it's locked it will give way and spin around without allowing you to put any force on the locking mechanism inside. Kind of like how an automotive gas cap doesn't let you over-tighten it but this works in both directions. I have seen on youtube the method of defeating these types of locks where they jiggle the knob and the buttons required to unlock it also jiggle. I don't know if they corrected that vulnerability or that only works on well broken in units. But when I tried that with mine only #3 and #8 jiggled... #8 is not even part of my combination and the three other numbers in my combo didn't jiggle at all. Anyway very happy with this cabinet. Will buy another the second I come up with an excuse to justify to myself why I "need" it. On a side note I am using this one mounted to the wall at the end of my desk to store all my USB thumb drives in it. Keeps them fairly secured and neatly organized. Even fit a laptop sized external HDD neatly in the bottom. Could easily fit two small externals back to back in there on their side but you'd loose your lower row of hangers. Anyway, love it. Really think I'm gonna end up with another before long.

best key cabinet yet
This is the best key cabinet I've had yet. I've had three at other facilities, and they all had the same weakness: a cheap lock that could be picked in less than 15 seconds with no visible sign of tampering. I know, because I had to open one when the key was lost. There were keys to the entire facility, as well as old keys to previous executives' cars and homes. Protected with the same or less security than a desk or file cabinet lock. This 10-key push combination lock doesn't take a key...so it can't be picked. It can be defeated by brute force (obvious) or by meticulously trying every possible combination. (Also obvious if someone is standing behind your office door for a few hours.) Easy to use, and combo can be changed in under a minute. Knob cannot be defeated with a hammer...if too much torque applied, it is designed to spin freely. My only reason for not giving it the fifth star: the labels are not durable enough for daily use. If you have "loaner" keys that are checked out regularly for all-day use, the labels will get dirty and eventually peel off. Not a huge deal, because they look like standard label tape can replace it. But enough of an annoyance to lose a star. Be careful when mounting. It is a little heavy, and large enough to notice if you didn't hang it level. A second set of eyes and/or a level and ruler are recommended. Also, as with any low-security device, do not mount this in an unattended area. I found one box hidden away in an electrical clost. A hammer and pry bar (or a couple of good kicks) will break any box loose from a wall and allow a perp to take it somewhere else to break into. Key cabinets should be "seen" every day as part of a routine, like locking doors at night. I was so impressed, I bought another smaller cabinet, as well as a keybox. The GE Supra lock is also available as a bare cabinet lock that can be installed/retrofitted to your existing cabinets. That is next on the shopping list.

Sturdy Easy to Use
I’ve bought three of these over the years because they are solid, easy to bolt to a wall and then to use. There are plenty of key hooks and the tags are a plus. I prefer to use tags that I can label versus the included numbered tags since you need to record the identity of the key on a separate key roster if you use the numbers. So far, the locking mechanism has never failed. 🤞

Ideal for small rental properties
We have now used two of these for our rental properties to keep spare keys and they're great. No batteries to replace, and the box feels quite secure. The hooks are a little crowded to use every single one but there's plenty of space for a smaller property.

Wow, Heavy duty.
I needed a larger key stoarage cabinet and ordered this one at a good price compared to what I could find locally. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see how heavy and well made this cabinet is in person. The metal is heavy-gauge and finished very nicely with a neutral powder coat. The combination lock can be set or re-set to an infinity of combinations. Very secure. Includes 4 mounting bolts and a number of hanging, numbered key tags. Roomy inside, will accomodate your keys and then some. I wanted this for my home, and it is actually a bit of overkill---this could easily be used in a commercial or industial application. Not cheap, thin, stamped metal like I saw at several local stores. Very good cabinet for the price paid.

Locking mechanism has subpar quality
Locking mechanism strips too easily and it will no longer open. This is the SECOND one this has happened to. Poor construction. Do not buy.

Great Key Locker!
Bought this key locker to organize keys for rental units. I had bought and tried a few different cheaper models prior and was not impressed by the build quality. These are still lockers that need to protects keys and I feel should be built strong to be safe. I was very impressed when I got this locker. It uses thicker steel. PROS: - Great build quality - Safety door seems hard to pry open - Combination lock so one less key to carry - Comes with numbered key tags CONS: - Twist latch may be confusing at first as it spins around when locked - Numbers on black keypad are not white or lighter color so they might be hard to see unless there is adequate lighting. Overall, I recommend this product and will buy it again if I need a second one.

Reliable & Secure – A Smart Choice for Home or Workshop
This key lock box has been a great investment. The mechanical push-button system is one of its standout features—no reliance on batteries, no app, and no risk of electronic failure. The only way you’ll ever be locked out is if you forget your chosen code, which makes it far more dependable than digital alternatives. Prior to this, we purchased a digital key safe that operated on batteries. Unfortunately, it failed within just three weeks due to constant battery drainage and ended up needing the emergency key override almost every time. That unit was returned to Amazon for a full refund, and we chose this mechanical Kidde model instead—definitely a better decision. The lock box works exactly as described. Press your chosen code (any combination of 2 to 10 digits), then twist the knob to open. The order of digits doesn’t matter—only the combination of numbers pressed needs to be correct. There’s also a centre reset tab to clear the keypad for re-entry, making it quick and easy to use. The construction feels solid, and it includes a good internal layout with key ring tabs to help organise up to 30 keys neatly. It’s a little compact for a busy workshop, so I’ll soon upgrade to the larger version—which unfortunately isn’t available on Amazon—and then pass this smaller one on to a family member. That said, for home use, it’s ideal. Given the rise in break-ins locally, it’s reassuring to know all our vehicle keys are now safely stored and out of reach. Just make sure it’s installed securely on a solid surface to maximise protection. Overall, this is a practical, no-fuss solution for key storage. Its simplicity, reliability, and mechanical design make it a highly recommended product for both residential and light commercial use. We’ve since purchased a second one for our home, which speaks to how confident we are in its performance.
