Essential Mario on the Go!!!!
EssentialAs with Amazon arrived in great time new and unopened.I would have liked a little extra with the package for pre-order like a figure or some collectible as I do feel Nintendo have just put 3 games together and released withoutany fanfare. These are not remasters - perfect as they are so didn’t need one - soIf your expecting Mario 64 in Odyseey graphics then this is not for you but saying that they have been improved slightly - Galaxy though is full HD.With the Nintendo switch it’s such a great console as you can play on the big screen and handheld so this game was a no brainer.I’m a massive Super Mario Fan - had Super Mario World on SNES for Christmas as a child. But I never purchased an N64, GameCube but I did have a Wii - but only played Super Mario Galaxy 2! So this collection to me was essential to play all 3 Mario games - retro games without an emulator in a nice package on my switch - sold!Super Mario 64Firstly for this one the screen does have black lines to cut down to the desired ratio. It plays wonderfully on the switch but is definitely dated - which of course it will be. I still wanted to play it so I would think for people who love N64 Mario absolute nostalgia for them with this one - plus you can play handheld which is always the plus with the switch. I do feel the younger generation won’t appreciate this Mario game and it’s prob a miss from them - although graphically looks like Minecraft lol.Mario SunshineWhat a fun Mario game looks great and plays wonderfully again I missed this first time round so get the chance to play on my switch. Graphics wise it looks fine - nothing astonishing but looks decent. Only done a little bit but I’m excited to play a full Mario title onmy switch that I’ve never played before.Super Mario GalaxyWell really this is why I purchased the package because I Loved SMG2 on wii, never got to play this one and now it’s on my switch - on TV mode it looks fantastic! And the wii controls within the switch joy-cons work superbly. On Handheld what’s not like it’s a HD Mario game on handheld it looks and play fantastic - touch screen can be used in handheld mode too, again it looks immense.A must must for Mario fans that have not experienced these games if you have played all 3 already you’d prob wait for a used copy elsewhere. Other than the games you get soundtracks but that’s a bit meh.I just hope we get SMG2 now on Switch because the port of the SMG1 is wonderful!

Absolute gaming at its best !!!! '
This Mario 3D all stars game is absolutely awesome I never got to play these games in the original form so for me getting a chance to play these Mario gaming legends all on one game cartridge on my favourite console (the switch) is absolutely gaming perfection I’ve played older Marios on game boy and nes but I’m missed out on these and I’m so glad I got the chance to play them as I’m a massive Mario fan and I must say I’m enjoying this set of games a lot I watched the Nintendo direct regarding its release and pre ordered mine asap and it was like being 5 years old again waiting for Christmas Day to arrive when I had to count down the 10 days wait I had for the release date and when it came it was a extremely exciting day the game is definitely worth the £49.99 price tag and you can play this on switch and switch lite without any issues its got that classic feel to the games with great graphics and gameplay too the controls work well with switch I haven’t had any difficulty getting used to them at all this is 30 plus hour at least of pure amazing Mario gaming and it would make a perfect gift to any gamer out there also its a limit run digitally from Nintendo and physically after 6 months (march 2021) it gone for good so it got great collectors value too I pre order mine from Amazon and the delivered it to me on release day and my overall pre order experience with Amazon was absolutely faultless so a great pre order service too I highly recommend this game ALOT!!!!!!!

Surprisingly Well Handled HD Remasters of these Classics
I have briefly played all 3 games and my expectations have been surpassed. The collection balances the line of updating classic games without changing them too much very well, they feel how I remember them but look and play better than ever. There are some subtle improvements, such as Mario 64 having controller rumble, and HD resolution with some improved textures - most noticeably, the round textures like Mario's eyes, rolling balls and the King Bob-omb look crisp and not jaggy around the edges. The text is much sharper and easier to read, and all the controls mentioned in the games have been updated to reflect the Switch controls.Mario Sunshine and Galaxy look really nice in HD, I'm very impressed with how they've upscaled these 2 games - including making Mario Sunshine full widescreen. The video cutscenes have been upscaled as well but look pretty good still. Note that Mario 64 is still 4:3 ratio, I'm guessing it would been too much work to make that widescreen. I think the viewing screen is a bit larger than what you would see on a CRT since the pop-in at the edge of the screen is more noticeable. They haven't adjusted the draw distance of objects either in Mario 64, so you have to get relatively close to objects such as coins to see them still. If you're wondering how the controls work - you can use the Pro Controller with all 3 games. I was particularly impressed with how Mario Galaxy controls, you move the controller - similar to Splatoon2 and Luigi's Mansion 3 to control the pointer to collect and fire bits. You can either shake the controller or press Y to do the Luma spin. One thing I was dreading, which always bothers me when I play the original Mario 64 and Sunshine is the backwards camera controls compared to modern Mario Game standards, and it is a relief for me that they've adjusted them to move as you would expect - rotating in the direction you turn to. This makes Mario 64 and Mario Sunshine easier to play! I didn't notice an option to reverse this, so that might bother some speed runners and players who are really familiar with the old setup (I'll update my review if an option shows up).I would easily recommend this collection to anyone who previously played these games and want's to re-live them in a modern format. I also highly recommend this as the current definitive version for playing these games - the update to the graphics and controls make them much easier for my 7 year old son to appreciate!

Another great instalment 🥰
My son adores Mario and we own every game now. This one is an excellent addition to the collection. I love that it has introduced our 5 year old to older Mario games and we can play them together. This compilation is like going back in time to the old school Mario games. If you want a trip of nostalgia, this is certainly the game for you! I think any Mario lover would enjoy what this game has to offer.Great value for money, there is a lot to explore in this collection, it offers many hours of gameplay.

3 fantastic Mario games in 1
Essential purchase for the Switch.- Mario Galaxy has aged fantastically and still looks great today. The only thing that spoils it is that it feels a little more rigid than Odyssey in retrospect but the gameplay is still more or less flawless. The Pro controller is a little more cumbersome than the Wiimotes were (or the JoyCon) are in terms of pointing, shooting and grabbing but it's perfectly servicable - just kind of confused that Nintendo didn't think of a better solution for this.- Mario Sunshine is still quirky but great. It looks fantastic (aside from some odd-for-Nintendo slightly unpolished bits) and feels every bit like another 3D Mario Platformer. The cel shading and tropical music and aesthetic have ages well in my opinion. And the extra actions and movement created by using FLUDD are good fun to experiement with.- Mario 64 is Mario 64 and you've been living under a rock if you've managed to avoid it until now. This fleshes out the collection but it's exactly the same as the original. Don't get me wrong, it's a great game but it's completely outshone by the other two games in this collection. Worth a play but it's not aged as kindly as the other two.

The best of Mario
I played these games when they first released, on all different consoles and it’s amazing having them all back in one game, what’s even better is my daughter absolutely loves them too, her favourite is Mario 64 as it is the easier for her age to get used to the controls however SM SUNSHINE is by far the best as she loves running around in that one too

Great if you missed them.
I played Super Mario 64 back in the day and loved it. I never got the chance to play the other 2 so this is a great option for those that missed out. Fantastic adventures but don't expect them to be modern games, they are still very much of their era. Sunshine does feel like it's missing elements and I wouldn't be surprised if it was rushed out back in the day but it is still a full game.Controls are... interesting. As each of these games were definitely built for their original system controllers the N-switch controls do feels slightly off. Don't get me wrong though this should not be a deal breaker, still a great experience.Price is tricky. I would say Nintendo games in general are always slightly more expensive than they should be but hey that's capitalism for ya. This game(s) does feel like a unique opportunity though as you're getting 3 classics for the same price as one Nintendo official game. I'd say a good deal and if you're looking for resale in a few years it will probably only keep or gain value as it is a limited release.

Great Game ... Lots of Variety!
I've wanted this game for a long time but the price was out of range for me. When it went on sale recently, I scooped one up. Now, do I open it up and play this great game or do I keep it sealed as a collector item? Hmm?

Nostalgie
3 super Spiele.
